Well ladies, I am getting back into the swing of things here. Have been trying to catch up on all the lovely rehabs here, and have started working on my own! First, a question:

Has anyone ever dunked one of these:

I grabbed one at GW for only $4.97. I need a few summer bags, and thought this one would fit the bill. After seeing what this one sold for however, it may hit the bay if I carry it a few times and don't fall in love! :graucho:
I've never dunked that particular bag but I've washed several fabric bags without a problem. I don't recall any bleeding or fading.

It's too big for me! I think it would likely have to be dyed.

And I wouldn't attempt to dye it. It depends on how embedded that dirt is and what exactly it is. I've dunked one of these before and it was no biggie but I doubt this would ever be perfect. Love the leather on these so much though I'd be tempted

I wonder how big it is exactly......no measurements! Why don't people put in measurements?
I'm not that familiar with PM so maybe I'm not clicking on the right place to find them?
I'm not familiar with Poshmark either but I recognized the style. I remember Two.time.bags had one and it was too big for her, and I know she can handle larger bags than I can. Coach's measurements are 14 x 13 x 3, but I think it is actually much deeper than that because I have the medium size and it is almost 6 inches deep.

Here's a listing with it modeled: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Coach-Faded...625?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item419780f6b9
and this listing probably has accurate measurements: http://www.ebay.com/itm/COACH-BLEEC...227?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item5b1317f58b

Postmark is kind of a mess. Totally buyer beware. It's a Bleecker large duffle though, if you search eBay there's tons. Strap hardware makes them heavy and they are big. Medium size has more reasonable strap but it's smallish. Leather is really nice on this collection though.

I'd Google measurements for you but I'm on my phone.

I'd be more tempted for a dark color. You can't tell how much is dirt and how much is scuffing or fading.

When you dunked yours, did it reshape well? I have a medium that has some wrinkles around the bottom that I don't care for but I don't know if dunking would help that much.

I love the detail on the large strap but I like that I can double the strap on the medium. I don't like the feel of the insides of the straps. I wonder if they did that so it wouldn't slip.

Thanks, just helps knowing the name so I can google it. I'm afraid of those stains though!

Hello,
I am new to the forum and just got my hands on these two Coach Station bags. The black one is in very good condition but has white stains on the interior and exterior. The dark green one is an older bag and has dark and brown stains of unknown origin all over the exterior. I plan to give the latter a bath but will probably need to touch up the brown spot with acrylic paint. Please advise me on what cleaner to use for the white stains on the black bag. I am also not sure when to use acrylic paint after a bath should I need to touch up those brown spots: before or after applying leather conditioner, or do I let it dry completely without applying conditioner and then use acrylic paint? Thank you.
