We watch TCM all the time too! I record movies and then we watch one each night. DH is obsessed with the 30s. It is hard for me to convince him that there were good movies made in the 40s too!

I never thought that maybe I got a bad bottle of Leather Honey. Now that you mention it, I don't think I had problems with my previous bottles. It was shipped by Amazon and leaked all over. It might have gotten contaminated with something from the box. Amazon gave me back my money but I've been using it anyway.

That's a shame about your husband's briefcase. Can you bathe it and start over?

It sounds like you need to wash the dog rather than the car!

TCM is the only thing I watch when I have tv. I love all the decades. No commercials! It is great for purse watching as well!

I don't think the case can be washed. It is padded, the 532 Organizer Brief (which I didn't realize I was in possession of when I asked about the 0s in front of those numbers earlier in December -must have been in denial).
BUT if anyone has experience with those padded briefcases I am all ears!

As for the dog, he'd have to be washed daily 2-3x! He's a puddle romping carcass rolling cow pie connoisseur. :yucky:

wow, that's gorgeous! I had no intention of getting a Bleecker wallet to match my Bleeckers but now I'm so tempted!
Thanks whateve. It was included with the magenta Bleecker XL Duffel I won so a bonus!. The pink lining is the same as some of the leather on the strap and corners of the bag. It's quite handsome. I quite like the colour and I love the buckle.
It turned out beautifully!

Thanks bigal. You got a cheque book holder without the wallet and I got a wallet without the chequebook holder!

How do you like your XL duffle? The brown leather on your wallet looks much darker than my latest Bleecker flap which was described as whiskey. I've been trying to darken mine with Blackrocks. It's a beautiful rust color but the flap is a little lighter than the rest.

I'm really impressed with the leather and I love the colour but it's way too big for me. I'll try to sell it and then buy one of those gorgeous satchels!

Waiting for the many layers of conditioner to soak into my pretty lady and then I'll give using dye a chance. I think I can mix up the perfect shade. :)

OMG that wallet came out gorgeous!!!!!

wow it's beautiful! I figured it would be too big for me too. I don't think I've ever seen this color in any of the other styles. There was a pretty orange in the small duffle that sold for quite a bit. You should have no problem selling it.

Vinegar loses its smell as it dries which makes it very useful antibacterial cleaner. Use any white vinegar, the cheapest option and dilute it with just enough water to wet the bag all over. Maybe 3:1 water to vinegar. You don't need to rinse it. Stuff it and change the towels often. If you can leave it in the sun to dry that would help too. Then condition as usual.

Thanks for the compliment on my rehabs. These bags were straightforward. I use Leather Therapy conditioner, Obenauf's if needed on really dry bags, and finish with Black Rock. Lots and lots of buffing in between coats. My favourite saying "buff til your arms drop off."!

What is your method of buffing? What do you use? Do you buff in circular motion? Do you buff after you messaged all the conditioner in? Plmk! Thank you!!

Thanks. It is awesome. Unfortunately Coach is not widely known here and Ozzies are tight when it comes to buying second hand stuff. Some if the offers I've had for my bags makes me want to reply with "go shop at Target". It might take a while but someone will grab it eventually.

Thanks. I'm really pleased considering it's a made in China and non-vintage!
It's so beautiful! The smaller one is almost too small. .. we are both in a bind with those gorgeous bags!

I am trying to downsize a bit though.
Thanks bigal. They need to make a size in between. Here's a pic to get an idea of scale. You could fit at least 4 bottles of wine in there! After dunking her I stuffed her with 3 bath towels!

I use a microfibre cloth and a horsehair brush. I allow the conditioner to soak in for a day before buffing. The microfibre cloth is useful for buffing in a circular motion after applying Obenauf's. Sometimes I wrap the cloth around the brush. Back and forth motion with the brush. Lots of elbow grease!

I think I need to learn the magic of buffing. I've tried and it doesn't look much prettier. My patent leather and some suede needs some buffing too but I'm afraid to use the wrong thing on it!
