Love the blue!

I can't see the exact damage in the pic, but personally I wouldn't be happy with superglue. I'd want it stitched so would be taking it to a good shoe repairer.
The Coach is in perfect condition judging from the pics except the dang strap! :nono:

I'll look at it and add some pics to this thread to see what y'all think

I just looked at the pictures of your blue bag. I would check with Coach and see if they would repair it. It looks like it should not have come apart, it is pretty new and the bag does not look abused in any way. If that does not work, then off to the shoe store. They have access to much better glue and gluing methods than regular folks.
Good Luck! Lovely bag;)

Well there's no Coach around me or a nice show store anywhere near me (small town), so that's why I was wondering if glue would work. Maybe I can make a trip to Coach (but I don't drive). Would it cost much to get it fixed?

Docride ( Hermes Rehab Goddess )from the Hermes rehab thread recommends Barge as a great leather cement, so I would look for that online. If it's good enough for Hermes, it's good for Coach.

That's not a bad idea. I got the bag and you can tell where someone tried to reglue but the glue is old. Luckily it's on the part of the strap that you can't see.

Would this be it? http://www.tandyleatherfactory.com/en-usd/home/department/leather-cement-glue/2514-596.aspx
edit: or this? http://www.amazon.com/Barge-DA081-Glue-Cement/dp/B002JL2ZHE

I really think returning it to coach is your best bet. This should should fall under their guarantee even if you didn't buy from them directly though I wouldn't tell them that part.

Hi I need help! I have this gorgeous vintage bag I am trying to restore! There was a stain on the bottom left hand corner, that I used many methods of trying to get it out. In the process I don't know if the color around it got dis colored or something.. How to I blend it in? I don't want to totally die the bag and I understand it won't be perfect! But I just want it to look like it is just part of the entire leather! If that makes sense!!...:) please help!

Also it might look a little darker than usual I have been monkeying around with it trying different things, so it might be a little wet! Thanks

Whateve...or any of the wonderful rehabbers here...reference this bag

I'm happy with everything but the handles. Despite a good bit of scrubbing while in the bath and lots of Leather CPR, the handles are still dark. Is there anything I can do to bring back more of the beautiful color?
On one bag I was successful in lightening the handles by scrubbing with very fine steel wool or sand paper. You have to be careful though because if you remove too much of the smooth leather, it will look even darker when you condition.

Do you have any idea what it is that caused the stain? And what exactly have you tried? You may be able to cover that area with refinisher if you can get a colour match. I think I saw a posting by ledobe about a bag with a patch that needed some work and it came up well with refinisher. Sorry I've been looking but haven't been able to find it yet.

Hi Ladies,
I need your help! I have never owned a Coach bag but my daughter got her first one for her 17th birthday a few months ago. She was so excited that she took it to school the next day and, of course, someone got a pen mark on it. She was so upset  I tried to take it off with alcohol but that also took off the color. It may look darker in the photos but it is a light tan/camel color. Any ideas as to how I can fix this spot? I would appreciate any help you could give me. Thanks a bunch!

Hi and thank you for responding! It is a old bag I got from ebay... So I don't know how many years it has been on the bag! I don't think the seller took care of her coach bags!:( I have tried various of things ( this is the first time I have tried to rehab a bag) after lots of reading on blogs I tried different things. But I think I screwed myself! First I tried to clean it with the coach cleaner and conditioner using a cloth, then gave it a bath and used stain remover with a toothbrush, it lightened it a little bit but not much! So I tried rubbing alcolol and it got the stain out (you can still see a faint mark, not seen in the picture also this method helped fade some other marks) when I used coach conditioner a few times to darken it a little bit to match the color of the bag. And then it was all down hill from there... Did I really screw it up? Should I just get rid of it? I would love to find something to blend it in with the other leather... Help!

Also here is a pic of the original stain. I can also give you a more updated pic of the mark! Thank you!!

Try the coach conditioner just on the stain! I can promise anything but the conditioner darkens a little when applied! Good luck! Let us know what happens!:)

I would find some acrylic craft paint that is the same color as the bag. Then I would mix this with conditioner and dab it on with my fingers to cover the spot.

For a spot that small I would find some acrylic paint to match, mix it with conditioner. Put on thin coats, blending it in, until the spot is covered.
