I love many Coach Ergo bags, I think that they are beautiful, comfortable and timeless. But even though this 11010 large Ergo is priced cheaply, I still think that the cost is too high to take a chance on a bag in such bad shape. It's dirty and stained, the leather is cracked, the metal has green verdigris, and the hangtag is missing. I will give this one a pass, but perhaps I have just lost my sense of adventure! What is your opinion; do you think that this bag could be saved?

The screw is stripped, and I think there's no fixing the hinge. So, I'm improvizing, so I can use the bag. The brass is not magnetic (the hinge), but the attachments inside the bag holding the hardware ARE magnetic. I can attach a magnet to the underside of the ball, and then when it comes into contact with the metal plate it will hold the bag shut! Also, the extra space pushes the bag flap out more, and then when you close the hardware on the ball, it stays, just kind of sitting there.

No. Plus, $20-some for shipping. Not worth it. If it wasn't for the dry rot side, I would say yes. :)

No  I don’t think you’ve lost your sense of adventure! If you’re like me you’re more selective in your adventures. That’s how I feel. If I didn’t have a rehab pile and for $10 at a flea market I might. The style is not for me so I would end up gifting it if it improved or donating it if it didn’t.

Looks like somebody already bought it!
I’m not surprised. A lot of people lurk this forum and will snatch up anything posted or authenticated
