Here you go, Connie in Seattle! This is on Facebook. Not sure if this link will work.

This appears to be a BONE NYC Madison Satchel painted Navy Blue - WHY?. It's a bargain at $40!

The only picture is of the creed, the rest is a video I took screen shots.

I didn't realize these had suede on the inside.

Yay...I love your indepth rehab posts.
I always learn something and get to drool over another new style.

Really nice! I love how the bottom looks with the "wings."
Thanks! Just an FYI, I used a Ralyn Suede Care Kit to remove (or disminish) marks and spots on the suede Monterey Zip 6146, see pic below.

When I bought my Wave Dreamer at the Coach Outlet in 2020, the Sales Rep gave me the care kit for free, because the Wave Dreamer has suede inserts. Since then I have successfully used the care kit on a few suede rehabs. It's also supposed to work on Nubuck, but I try to avoid nubuck after a very bad rehab experience!

It's just a suede brush and a stone. You rub the edge of the stone along spots and marks to remove dirt and then use the brush to refresh the suede surface. It's not perfect but I think that it helps!

Ladies (and Lake Effect and others also), as a rehab rookie and new to TPF (though definitely not a youngster 😅 nor new to old-Coach love), I am so enjoying following and learning from all of your posts (and I’ve started way waay back!). Your restorations are gorgeous eye candy (and often truly stunning rescues). And I equally appreciate your occasional mentions of the rehabs gone rogue. It’s heartening to know that even the true experts have their own ‘very bad rehab experience’ once in awhile! Thank you!!

Years ago, I think Coach sold their own branded suede care kits.

For some reason Instagram or Purseforum are not allowing me to post my reels.
So here is a photo of the XL Duffle finished sans colour correction..View attachment 6097177
I agree with @whateve that this bag looks really good. If the bag looks as good on the other side as the one you pictured, it is definitely "carryable". I believe the slight color loss adds to the distinction of a vintage bag- something which would get lost if the color were corrected. Being just a good-looking bag, of course she would also be stunning if she was color corrected . It is just a matter of the look you are after. The longer I carry vintage Coach bags, the happier I'm to still be able to acquire bags from the 80's and 90's, before they are gone. Coach's newer bags cannot compare to their quality.

It looks amazing. How did you end up working out the indentations?
For specific indents (like that circle thing on the back), I tried rolling the leather between my fingers when wet and soft, and again after it dried. Rolling in multiple directions. Rubbing conditioner on it in multiple directions. Pushing on the indent from the back, while massaging the leather with leather CPR. This bag the leather is super thick and sturdy so in the corners and near edges it was impossible to "roll." I rolled where I could. The main problem with the bag was how misshapen and squished it was. Dunking and reshaping fixed that! Prior prior owner didn't take good care of this bag! Last owner probably found it at the bin store on it's way to the landfill or something similar. I feel good that I rescued it!

I needed to remove the hardware on front to roll that lower right indent near the turnlock...but I didn't. I still could, I suppose.

So helpful to know you were able to smooth those deep indentations by hand with CPR (and some tired fingers). I think the dunk and reshape is so satisfying!!

Lovely rehabbers, I have a product question.

I’m already devoted to Leather CPR. I’m looking to move up to Products 201. 😄 I know the different products have different purposes (and everyone will have their preferences). I’m curious whether any of the opinions of our seasoned pros have changed at all over time?

I currently have Blackrock Leather N Rich for detailing trim though I have not tried it on a whole bag or on a light color.

It seems to me in having read as many of the posts as I can locate on the topic, that there has in the last couple years been a move toward Renapur over Obenhauf LP… would you agree?

Also, what are current views on Obenhauf Leather Oil and on Leather Premium Therapy Restorer & Conditioner?

Thank you so much for any and all input!
