Okay so medium brown matched BT for you too? Hmmm. How long ago did you buy it and from what source?
And nice! Love me some BT.

Be aware that I question if my container of Saphir Juvacuir medium brown, and possibly above, was incorrectly labeled. I bought it around 5 years ago expecting it to be a darker brown, from their color chart. Another member bought it after me and it was a match for mahogany!
February 2024 on Amazon from a secondary seller (I could not source it locally). I bought it for another British Tan Coach bag (Saddle bag #9851) that I am restoring. I thought I would try it out on the briefcase first. Perfect match for BT. I only did the back pocket in the Juvacuir, the rest of the briefcase is vintage Coach original BT dye. Good stuff, well worth the price & a little goes a long way.

I have admired that style for ages! Enjoy! I would if I saw it cheap while thrifting.
When I see something I like, or something someone else has that I like, I use my handy dandy gem search engine to find one for me. I also found this one of the same bag for around $70 shipped! Bag itself was $37.63!! Shipping from Japan, I hope I get it! It's a little squished, but I can fix that! ETA: I found a listing of this style bag online, and the person wants $1200.00. Said they paid $1300 10 years ago. Did this bag sell for that much? Anyone know? I'd love to chortle even more if I knew this bag was that valuable. :)

I found #11373 in a catalog for $898! But I don’t see green mentioned. At 14”x11”x5” that’s a lot of bag!

Okay I am doing just a little “spa day” work here, as I have been threatening to do for forever! I found this cute little canvas satchel with a daisy fob a few years ago at a thrift shop. It has a few little spots on the canvas and leather. Will commit to posting back tomorrow on this. Easy peasy lemon squeezy.
For my anniversary Leather Legacy Shoulder bag, I decided I wanted to do a wipe down of the lining with vinegar for no other reason than to keep it clean and fresh. To help in general, I have been saving those silicone packets that seem to come in everything now and now put them in bags as I take them out and use them.

Starting a rehab on a black Side pack bag look at all the green gunk!
I found the easiest way to clean off most of it is with a used dryer sheet. I wrap it around a metal nail file or end of a tweezer. I can scrape off big chunks. It adheres to the dryer sheet, which is handy if you a working on hardware you can remove. The hardware on my vachetta Slim Legacy Tote was encrusted with verdigris.

I took off the hardware, scraped it with my fingernail under warm running water. Scraped off the pieces, and then I used Brasso and a soft cloth. One piece was so tarnished I used fine grit sandpaper on it.

By no means a rehab, but finally gave this canvas tote bag #4427 a light cleaning, conditioning. Thrifted a few years ago, the daisy got me! Using it on the traditional end of summer day! Overall the appearance did not change from the before pics, so I just took the one photo for an after. I wiped the canvas down with a sudsy Dawn solution, saturating several small stains. I just did not feel inclined to put in more effort. I was curious if there would be a watermark where the spots got saturated but I see none. I wiped the leather on the bottom and the trim with vinegar and applied Cadillac Select conditioner ( I want to use up the bottle) and left it at that. Officially vintage in December! There is such detain inside …
My Leather Legacy Shoulder Flap bag is back stored in its pillow case, ready for use.

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for help with a vintage coach basic bag. When I first received it, I thought these were just stains, but when I googled around I learned about mold measles. I already dunked/washed it and set it in the sun to dry before I knew about mold stains, which has been upsetting because I love this bag and I regret dunking it in water since I read that could potentially re-activate the mold. Is there a way to tell if the mold is still active or if these are just old mold stains?? I’m wondering if I still need to rub vinegar on it. Also does vinegar just to need to be applied to the outside?
