Dollar General is a discount chain, but they are not a “dollar store” like the chain, Dollar Tree, used to be. They sell it for $10. Girl if I could buy that for a buck, I’d get a side hustle going that would be funding an early retirement!!!
I decided to see if Vegas had a local store that sold CPR.. Lo an behold, Tractor Supply Company has it for $11! @Narnanz - I'm more than happy to mail you some too!

I must admit I was a bit taken aback by a *Tractor* Supply Co in Vegas..

Pens are have always been a problem and I hate finding ink marks inside rehab projects, but I did find a beautiful Bleecker Coach solution for carrying pens in my own purse and it has worked well for me for years, see the link below:

I am also a pen lover and struggle with the whole pen in bag issue. There are some beautiful pen cases out there that appeal greatly to my SLG loving heart, Galen Leather in particular, but ultimately I don’t use them enough while out to carry multiple pens so I just settle for a simple slim Cross pen and leave the Mont Blancs at home. I feel bad telling people no they can’t borrow my pen if asked but I almost lost a MB pen by foolishly loaning it out once. Had to shake them down to get it back.

So, if one needs to carry a pen, make it a nice one and get a pen case! So much opportunity for beauty! And don’t even get me going on colored inks…

Late to comment, but I would also love to just try different products to see how they work on a single bag. I am overwhelmed with the experience, insight and guidance everyone in this thread provides. It would be my dream to get a large non-redeemable bag and just scratch and stain and just beat the crap out of it so I could try different methods to repair. I've worked on 3 bags that had issues and it's clear that I don't know diddly. My Patricia was my first major victim of stupidity. If anyone is interested, they can just look at my previous posts for evidence. And yes stupidity is the correct word.:hrmm:
I had a bag like that. Destroyed it but learned much. I learned that patience is my biggest problem, and bags need time to absorb and time to dry, etc.

Someone stole my MB pen out of my office years ago. I’m still bitter.

Here's a Red Lexington Briefcase (not authenticated) for $60 OBO. It has some issues, including little tabs of wear sticking out all along the top. I think that they might rehab okay if you sand them very gently with sandpaper - but I am not sure. All I know is that it's red!!!

Tractor Supply has multiple leather cleaning/conditioning products. It has horse riding gear. I buy CPR there.

There's an equestrian store near me and I have found many leather care products there over the years; that's where I first discovered Leather Therapy oil. Sometimes you can also find good stuff at automotive stores for the care of leather seats, motorcycle apparel, etc.
