Do you in NZ have a 2 week quarantine upon arrival?
Yes...you have to book a place...they are 4 or 5 star hotels and you get all your meals provided. Returning New Zealanders get it free but others have to pay...many of which have not. We catch a lot of Covid in Managed Isolation as its called. Had a few scares with a few found in the community but with localized lockdowns we have been able to control it.
Its not perfect and we will need to change our strategy when we finally open our borders. We have the vaccine here but its going to essential workers first and then will roll out to the rest of the country in a few months

This raises a very important question: how does everyone organize their collections? I have only a few styles, but multiple colors, so I've been organizing by style. I am loving House's system though - it's a color feast for the eyes!

I have no place to display mine. They are just kind of sitting about the house. I am loving my collection so much lately that I think I am going to buy some sort of shelf or cabinet. I have been googling how other people display their bags and have a few ideas. I only need a small space though...nothing close to what @houseof999 has  I kind of want some sort of cabinet like @Narnanz has, where I can keep the dust off them, but still look at them easily when I want. Not quite sure if I will display by color or style or what. Just need to decide on a proper space for them first.

I'm so excited about this Court! Getting ready to give one more buff and put the hardware back on, which is sparkling thanks to a good polishing with my dremel and some brasso. I also used steel wool for the first time to remove that dark top layer. I am very proud of this rehab. Between last week's station painting fiasco and this hardware, I finally feel like I might know what I'm doing here.

I bought a strap for the court that should arrive mid-week...so excited and hoping it looks as good as I think it will.

I was going to use one of my basic bags as my botw, but I think they just got bumped back a few weeks.

Preview of my shiny hardware, looking nearly brand new.

Mines just a cheap as Wardrobe...I hoping to get a glass cabinet soon to house them and show them off better.

Strap in making--using 3 mm thick full grain veg tanned cowhide, 1.5 in wide, strap end 1" wide, strap drop 22" to 25".
Still need to dye, and burnish the edge and back (flesh side). First try but I think it will work.
The strap is mostly done, just need another application of CPR, then BlackRock. I am glad with the result, now I can wear the large Courier crossbody.
ETA: add 2 photos ( attached at the different holes )

That is very creative and resourceful! I remember you sharing the burnishing tool for the edges, but what dye did you use?

Some photos before I move in! Lighting is terrible here today, so not the best comparison pics, but it looks so much better irl. The scratches around the handle are dark again thanks to the BR, but I'm sure that will look better in a few days. I've buffed and polished all I can for now. I'm so torn on my favorite style now, I do love the Regina and she is so pretty to look at, but I think Court might be a better every day bag since it is a bit bigger, at least for now while I'm having to carry our sanitizer and all our masks. I will see how it goes with botw!

I know I've said it a hundred times, but I love British Tan so much
