I have a black duffle on the way that has an ink stain on the bottom. I'm not too worried about it since it's not highly visible, but I wanted to see if you had some tips for working on it - is there anything you've used successfully to remove ink, or at least lessen it? And anything to watch out for when I give it a bath? Bleeding, etc? Thanks for your help!

I was able to mostly remove ink on the inside of a british tan manor using Basic-H. If you search this thread for "Basic-H" you should be able to find my old posts with before and after photos. I'm too lazy to type it all out again using my stupid tablet right now....

Has anyone rehabbed lavender? If it looks faded is that a showstopper? TYIA!
I did a light rehab on a lavender Ergo. Basically just a dunk and stuffing for shape. The color did not fade as a result of the dunk but the one side that had edging that was just barely barely barely lighter than the other side, it did not bounce back to original color like I was hoping it would after the dunk.

Thank you both - I will pass on this one. I wish there was a ballet pink color - that would be A-MAZING!

Thompson Julia for $100 (it says "firm price" but "make and offer"?!)

FYI, here are the pics of the one I rehabbed recently:

I don't think there is any way to turn off the make an offer button on Posh.

Hi all! My BT Murphy has been my daily driver for 7 years now and is starting to show it on the piping. It doesn't look bad, but I'm wondering if there's anything I can do to prevent the top layer from fraying even more. I've seen some of you repair piping with leather glue/cement - is that overkill at this point?

This is the last one I bought. The inside stamp is really hard to read and the description of the bag was minimal. I can't tell if its pre-creed but the last 4 digits I read as 9168 which doesn't match.
I hope it's real as I paid more for this one than any of the others and they had COAs

I’ve had good luck with Clear Gorilla glue mixed with a tiny bit of matching acrylic paint. Apply sparingly to area with a toothpick. Just enough to level it to surrounding edges. After it dries, if it’s too glossy compared to surrounding area, gently file with a soft nail file to dull it a bit.

It looks like 9166, Legacy Large Drawstring.

BTW, don't trust COAs from Goodwill.
I understand about the COA concerns but there are a few of the sellers on there that are very trustworthy. The goodwill of orange county california is particularly good. As well San Antonio, central Texas and southern Nevada.

I've bought over 100 bags on there, with and without COA's. 3 were fake and I was able to return them. None of the fake ones had COA's though.
It really was my fault though, they were brands I didn't know much about, an Etro, Miu Miu, and a Tory Burch and I should have done my research first. The returns though were painless and fast.
A lot of the bags with COAs are from the two top authenticators and have the QR code on them so you can scan them and check them on the authenticators website.
