Thank you!! :flowers: I will see then, when I receive it, whether it needs to be dunked. If I just wanted to wipe it down on the outside, and handles, just for a light cleaning before the CPR, is there a particular product you recommend?

If you want to wipe down, I would use vinegar but I don't think you'll need to. CPR acts as a cleaner as well as a moisturizer.
You will find many of us here have our own “Special Sauce”. In addition to what has been recommended, I have also safely used what I call my go to wipe down solution: About 1/2 tbsp Lexol Leather Cleaner in about 3-4 cups of water (I have this mini bucket I fill halfway). If there was something yucky, I follow that up with a wipe down of plain water.

Before & after for this Legacy Turquoise XL Ergo. I only paid $19 + shipping so I thought "why not". The inside was surprisingly clean but she reeks of smoke (which was undisclosed). Considering how bad she looked I think it is a great improvement. I'm still working on the smoke smell. Before Turquoise Ergo.jpg Before Turquoise Ergo1jpg.jpg Before Turquoise Ergo2.jpg Turquise Ergo After 002.JPG Turquise Ergo After 003.JPG

Lol, my 2 year old daughter is obsessed with Frozen! She constantly sings that song, so it was already in my head:rolleyes:
I ended up using more preparer on my bag in the middle of dying because it wasn't taking in some spots! Of course, I ended up doing 6+ coats of dye on my bag to get it more even, so maybe that wasn't the best idea:lol: I also ended up using paint on the edges of the strap to get it the right color. Can't wait to see your pictures!
Ya I was looking at the Edge Cote protect wondering if I wanted to pay for 4 oz when I need way way less than that. So you used acrylic paint on your edges? Did you seal that with Resolene? Speaking of, did you do Resolene after all your conditioning treatments so it was your last step? Is the bag able to take any conditioning after Resolene, or is it like after Resolene the bag is sealed up to anything absorbing through it?

Y
I lived in them in the 80s. I was never able to get my hair as long as I wanted and they made it look like a long ponytail which was awesome. I have big curly hair and always struggled.
Yes same here. I have curly hair but my mom and aunt had mine and their hair permed, like it was popular to do back then with the at-home perm no less, into that really tight curl perm and then we all rocked the literal triangle head. Ugh. Forever documented in my 5th grade cheerleading photos. I was the only person on the squad with that hair. Looking back, no wonder it was a miserable time.
But hey my older cousins needed a doll to dress up and experiment on and I was the only other girl in the family so.
