first time repaired a hole in the piping. Just follow whatever's method, first fill the hole with leather glue, wait for a couple days for glue to dry, then touch up with puff paint.
Thats what I will be doing this week..finding black puffy paint to fix a hole in the pocket bag...so glue first...let dry fully..then paint. Do you add any conditioner to the paint?

Sweet deal was going to dye it and at that time she had her glitter plaza on sale so I was terrified she was going to do something like that to this bag which is why I bought it. Can you ask the seller what was done? I think when I looked her up as my buyer I saw she something like she works with/for a company that "reatores" bags. So she may not have personally rehabbed the bag herself. I don't think it can hurt to ask anyway.
Omg, the rose glitter Plaza bag...

I wish I could have seen it, but this was before I was hit with the vintage coach bug. I tried looking up the listing but it’s not there anymore. So curious what it was like!
No, you don’t, better left unseen.
But if you must, imagine taking a perfectly good Plaza and dipping it in glue. Then dipping it into a vat of rose gold glitter until completely coated. Those that saw it will back me up.
