I finally finished the rehab on the really sad pocket purse, thanks to @katev. The leather is super thick and there were no holes or tears. The color is still pretty mottled, after 3 coats of CPR and 2 coats of Blackrocks...but it looks really nice, to me at least, lol. I removed all of the hardware and it was funky! I needed to do a light sanding on the turn lock face as the coating was wearing off. I didn’t have any steel wool, so I used a fine grit finger nail sanding block and it worked perfectly, thank you Sally Beauty Supply
. I also polished it with barkeepers friend. I’m pretty happy with results and now my next big rehab is restitching a strap tab on an NYC Dinky. I actually had forgotten how horrible it looked until I was getting photos together. The before pics are from the listing, as I forgot to take some before dunking. Happy rehabbing
