It is the perfect match - so cute! I have been searching the Wayback Machine to try and find pictures of other Thompson Julia items but so far I haven't had any luck - so thanks!

Yes it is!

I picked this up at Goodwill, it’s extremely soft and puddle-like. It’s a 70th anniversary Willis; I’m not sure what type of leather this is? Not sure how to handle a cleaning of this? What can I use as conditioner?

It's vachetta. I'd start with just a vinegar wipe for cleaning. I've used Leather CPR to condition a Poppy vachetta hobo, others have used Cadillac or Apple for conditioning vachetta.

It's hard to see from the photo but I think that might be vachetta . I rehabbed one in this style and could only pull out the striped lining to hand wash, being very careful not to get the leather wet. CPR followed by Blackrocks on the leather to finish, with lots of buffing.

The Gramercy and Gracie have arrived.

The Gramercy needs a bath and I'm scared to death of messing her up, I know other people have done this and they came out fine for some reason my knees knock just at the thought of dunking her.She is such a delicate color of light blue-green.

Didn't that Gramercy have a broken turnlock? Did you fix it?

That Gracie is gorgeous and I love the Gramercy - such an unusual color!

I know what you mean about being scared to dunk a light-colored Italian Coach bag. I felt the same way about my Butter Madison Copley, but my rule of thumb is "if I am not comfortable carrying it in the current condition, then I may as well try to rehab it!"

Here's an after pic of the Copley and it is not my most successful rehab but at least I am comfortable carrying her now because she is clean. I gave her a bath in Dawn suds and I think I should have scrubbed harder to get it cleaner. Or maybe I should have tried vinegar in an obscure spot to see if it helps without causing harm - but I was so afraid of damaging the bag that I was pretty gentle.

Just be prepared to wait for days for it to dry, but that does give you time to correct mistakes and try different things; beautiful Gramercy bag!

I washed a Gramercy east west satchel in the same colour without a problem except that I stretched the pigskin lining (which I was able to pull out) trying to get the spots out. The lining no longer fits snugly into the bag. Hope this helps.

Looking at your beautiful Copely, is what makes me daubt my own abillities, while I have already dunked the beechnut Carlyle and she took no harm the Gramercy is so light, she is a little more grungy then the picture shows, I don't seem to be able to capture her true color, plus she needs restauration work done one the lower third edges that's what makes her look dirty.
The Gracie is the real suprise, first of all I had no concept of how diminutive she realy is.Second when I pulled the trigger, the Gracie seemed more of an aftertought. That was untill I unboxed her  :heart: it's like the Gramercy and Biltmore had babies and I get to keep one.:hbeat:

I dunked my butter Copley because I was encouraged by your rehab! It definitely helped with reshaping the sides but honestly I don’t think scrubbing harder would help this color. The color just naturally looks faded and a bit dingy lol

I’m still in the middle of repainting the edging on the handle and strap. I could have been done by now but I got distracted by other projects. So far I sanded all the old edge paint off and have 2 coats of primer coating on. I’ll probably need to do 2 coats of paint. I think I’m stalling because I need to mix 2 colors to get a match and it really should be done in day light. By the time I’m home from work it’s dark and then I have other fun things to do on weekends besides painting purses haha
