This wasn't much of a rehab because its in terrific shape, but I did condition this large Carly with Leather CPR and Blackrocks last night, and then gave it a good buff with the horsehair brush today. This will become my new knock around red bag, I just know it.

Noticed this one on Mercari. I’m sure that the handles could easily be repaired. I thought about it...

Beautiful! I just repaired similar handle damage on a Madison Drake Briefbag and it was an easy repair, a little fabric glue and acrylic paint.

It looks like it may be missing the hangtag so you would need to get a replacement.

I wish that we could see the creed patch but I think that it is the Biltmore 4417 - which is intermediate in size between the Gracie and the Copley.

If anyone is interested. The Madison Bristol Dome bag is a large satchel, this brown one is listed for BIN $50 or make an offer. It's missing the strap and the hangtag and it has wear to the piping on the bottom, so I would try to get a better price. You can't see the creed patch but it looks okay from what I can see, but I am not an authenticator.

Whateve kindly authenticated them.
Wow! Both a Gramercy Top Handle and a green Gracie for $75, nice finds!

The seller describes the Gramercy as "light green" so I wonder if it is "Powder Blue" because that looks light blue/green in this catalog picture - very rare!

I'm delighted and scared half to death at the same time, I think it is this one.

Oh boy am I going to need help, what are the chances of me falling in love with that celadon Biltmore and then finding this.

They were advertising $25 or make an offer and $5 shipping earlier today. It definitely needs some serious TLC and has not been authenticated (NMA):

It's hard to read so I can't see if it was "made in NYC"? I think that it is a pocket purse and it appears to be missing the hangtag and it looks like it has some verdigris.

It could be a good "starter bag" for a new rehabber because no matter what you do it it - you couldn't make it look any worse - and I think that it could look a whole lot better with some TLC. I am always willing to take chances when I don't spend a lot on a bag and would find it impossible to wear in the current condition!

I’m working on my first rehab. What is the best way to remove the lock hardware for polishing?
For removing brass turn locks, I used to use a small screw driver to pry up the prongs on the back of the oval plate and the back of the turn lock itself. Recently, I ordered a set of plastic dash board removal tools from eBay and these work a lot better and cause less scratching and bending of the oval plate.
