I love this color! Both of these colors actually. She needs some conditioner but otherwise appears to be in good shape.

Did they make the currier bag in two sizes? The rust colored one looks bigger and I'm sure you will spiff her up in no time flat.
Are you going to sleep with her beside your pillow tonight?

Ha ha ha ha!! It's funny you say that, I actually thought about doing that. But I do have some sanity left, hanging by a thread maybe, but it's there.

It does come in two sizes but my orange one is the same size as the red one, it just must be an illusion from the way it's hanging. The brown one is a small Courier. The other three are large Couriers.

I would, my hubby would have just laughed and shaken his head but then I didn't sneak out of bed at 3Oclock in the morning playing with my new fishing rod either. We where both very tolerant about each others foibles.

I've been known to set my alarm to 3 am to sneak out and snipe an auction seconds before it ended.

Beautiful bag but to rich for my blood right now and by the time you add a tag and the also missing medallion your looking at 200.00 dollars.
I just spend a big chunk of change on a navy Biltmore but that one even has the dustbag included. It also weighs far less then the Thomson.

Yeah, I paid a lot less for my Julia, and that makes it a lot easier to take chances with the rehab!

Does anyone have advice for this beauty. I literally only paid 30 dollars for it and it's new with tags. Still smells like brand new leather. The problem is, there are red marks all over it. It looks like they tried to clean them off but didn't know what they were doing and rubbed the gloss and some of the leather color down. Any way to get the red markings off and get the color and gloss back? Pretty color!

It kind of looks like red ink marks? The bag is mis-shapen and wrinkled so I would probably give it a bath in Dawn dish soap and warm sudsy water. While it is in the bath use your fingers to gently rub the stained areas to see if you can remove and of the marks or at least make them lighter and less noticeable.

Next rinse the bag well, allow it to drain into the sink a bit. Lay it out on a towel to shape it, stuff it with clean towels to shape it correctly and carefully lay the straps so that they will dry nice and even. Turn and re-arrange the shape of the bag periodically while it is drying.

After drying overnight, remove the towels and pull the lining out of the bag as much as possible, again lay the bag in a nice, normal shape and allow it to continue drying, turning occasionally.

When it is still a bit damp, apply a good leather conditioner (like Leather CPR) to the bag, apply sparingly, wipe off excess, and massage it into the leather. Wait a few hours and buff with a soft clean rag or a soft clean horsehair brush. Repeat the conditioning if the leather seems dry.

If it still looks dull in spots, you can apply a higher gloss conditioner, like Lexol or Leather Therapy Restorer and Conditioner. A product called Black Rocks Leather n Rich really does a nice job restoring shine but you have to apply it very lightly and wipe it off quickly then brush.

You are AWESOME! Thank you soo much! I will get a couple different leather conditioners and horsehair brush and give it a go. Will update once I'm done! ☺
