PERFECT. I was digging for this. Thank you so much. ETA this particular Station has a hangtag that is very thin and not dyed on one side. I'm curious if that is what pre-1994 hangtags could be like or if it is a fake but regardless, should I dunk that as well or would it ruin it being so thin and only half-dyed?
It may be half of a double-sided hangtag. These sometimes came unglued. Someone may have "repurposed" both halves to create two separate hang tags. I would just gently hand wash it, dry it flat, and then condition it.

ETA: or you might not even need to wash it if it looks OK. Just condition the stamped side.

Original hangtags were only one-sided. I don't normally dunk hangtags unless they are curled.

Hello all! I recently purchased a Dremel and it comes with a cream polish. I have only been using Brasso on the brass hardware of bags. Has anyone used both and could share how they compare? Thank you in advance!!!

Well that answers that question, before I had to ask it, thank you.
This N.Y.City black saddlery bag just came in with the original hangtag.

The most pizz poor packing job I have ever seen, concidering that I paid 15.00$ for shipping the seller crammed her in a padded envelope folded it in half then used a smaller envelope o shove her in then tape it shut.:cursing: All this so he could make a few extra bucks out of shipping, postage stated eight dollars.

I stuffed her with anything I could lay my hands on quickly while I ran her bath water, she had a bad crease right on the top of the flap, I just hope I can get that out. This is what happens when you get a bargain and the seller has no clue of the value of the item he is shipping, ya wait with baited breath that it gets to you in one piece.

LOL it looks the same way at my house. My son happened to pass by as I dunked mine and he is like, "what are you doing ma? Your bathing a purse?"He thinks I lost it.:giggle:
I usually do it outside in a couple of tubs...but its was persisting down with rain.
I find the artificial light not enough to see any marks and such...and I missed a few little specks on the back.
