Thanks houseof999 no brief cases or portfolios for me then.it would kill me to try and work on my knees in the bathtub let alone get back up.:lol:

Hand sewing. I've worked with leather in various ways for a long time, but this will be a first. And I'm cheating a bit; I don't have to cut, line, awl, or bezel the edges... I got a fake Coach a long time ago before I knew anything about anything (not too far from where I'm still at compared to y'all ), but the leather is really nice on it and the piping is in perfect condition. Well, I can't think of a better use for it than to take it apart and use the pieces. It will still be a challenge, but a fun one... I hope.

And since it's my bag and I never plan on selling it, I can mess it up. Haha! Not that I want to, but it's it's not looking great as is, so might as well try...

It was heavy! So I hung it upside down to drain from a kiddie chair in the tub.
Lol only if you could see me! After it was done draining I laid the bag down on a hand towel. Sandwiched the flap between two other hand towels and then walked on the towels to get the extra water out! :lol:

Lol! They're are many bags I don't have in red! I can't have them all! Y'all can enjoy those. I don't have red plaza, either size, post pouch ( had it but found it too small for my big phone then so I sold it) or a red Winnie, Emmie flap... I am sure there's plenty other crossbody styles I haven't bought yet. I only have so much room for other colors! Where would I put those if I let red takeover my basement?? Lol!
