My blue Janice from Goodwill just arrived! It is a beautiful slate blue. Absolutely beautiful. I have lots of blue bags but none near this shade. There are two grease spots on one side that I hope I can wash away. It was made in Costa Rica in 2004. The leather is soft and supple, so much different than my 2005 Rambler's Legacy that was made in China. I'll try to remember to get a picture of them side by side before I dunk the Janice.

I've never done it either! The most I've done is hang it in a steamy bathroom. I imagine you could also use a steam iron, holding it a few inches away from the bag.
Those are both so beautiful!! I'm jealous, I LOVE those blues!!
I tried doing it once by putting a towel over the bag and then running the steamer over it. I held it for too long at one part and “burned” it (in quotes because I don’t know whether that’s what happened but it’s sitting there and I haven’t bothered to fix it, but will get to it eventually). I don’t know the procedure but don’t do what I did! Haha
I love the blues! It is funny how bags usually look so much better in person, even better than the great pictures here.
Ooh pretty! My daughter would love those blues. I gifted her my federal blue Willis, which looks like the same color as your Janice.
