Ok wax is coming off when I scrape with my finger nail. There's no way I'm scraping this whole bag so I just decided to give it a hot bath. This is so gross. I have never ever had faced a harder rehab in my life. Stay tuned.. not sure if she will be a beauty but hopefully better than before. The layers coming off is making me want to throw up. [emoji2961]

You’re no stranger to a tough rehab so this can’t be good! Stay strong, I’ve got nothing for you, but I’m pulling for you. They must have doubled down on some waxy waterproofing product.
Thank you. I don't usually do tough rehabs. I am mostly used to wash, dry and conditioning. I just bathed the red carousel yesterday. Today I bathed the purple station bag and the Jade Kimball zip. Both were pretty clean so didn't have to do any hard work. They didn't even bleed any color in the bath! This tote on the other hand just revealed worn piping after the wax was removed. Sigh.. more work.
It's yucky-looking but I think you're on the right track. Staying tuned for the after pics!
Anxiously watching for updates! The grossest rehab I did was when I dunked a bag that I didn't know had gum in the pocket. It turned into a gooey mess. It was all I could do to not throw up.
Looks like an animal chewed it, or it got dragged across asphalt.
Seller is a bit <cough> optimistic with that price, IMO.
Well all baths are done and the leather has cracks in several places. I am not sure if they were there to begin with but they are there now. I may have cracked the leather myself when I bent the leather. [emoji3525] I don't know for sure. 
It looks lighter colored. I wonder what it will look like when done. What are you going to do about the cracks?
I bought some leather cement recently so I guess this is the perfect time to try it. I assume I have to use it like spackling a wall? Lol. Haven't read the instructions yet. It looks different in different lighting. The bag is still wet so I'm guessing it will dry lighter. Left is with flash on, right is without. I do think it looks a lot less splotchy than it was before the bath.
I used some on a bag yesterday and it dried pretty close to clear in color. Mine is white at first. I was surprised how it turned out but in my case the leather is thin, so I’m not sure how long it will last.
It's a black Prairie. I picked it up yesterday at GW and did the dunk( added vinegar as well as Dawn because there was some mold in it). When I was reshaping it, I had no idea there was a pen explosion until I saw it all over my hands and towel. I just kept blotting and blotting until it didn't soak up anymore. The bag is a shaped and 2 coats of CPR and one of Blackrocks.....
When I called Coach, they told me that they no longer replace D rings so I had to buy some for my Willis bag on eBay through the seller Silver-Coach; I also needed a hang tag and they said they no longer replace leather but had three options of metal ones I could choose from: silver, bronze and gold.
