Oh, it is beautiful! Unfortunately several of the light colors of Legacy bags were prone to yellowing like this. Personally, I would try to keep the original color, especially if you were to ever sell it. I've never had good luck changing the color of a bag. I haven't found a dye or paint that maintains the original feel and sheen of the leather, and this vachetta leather is special. Do you have a dye you've worked with before?

I have a lovely Gigi in Teal - very close to Pool - and it's aged unevenly. It's a problem with these bags. Mine is still lovely, but a different panels are differnent colors.

Do you guys think the black spots on this bag could be mold damage? Or just dirty. Is it rehabbable?

Not sure about the outside, but the dark marks on the inside would make me nervous about purchasing it - esp since there's not a close up zoomed-in image of the marks. It could just be dirty, but when in doubt, I would say don't buy. From personal experience, I can tell you this: mold is not something to mess with. Even if you can kill it, you may not be able to fully remove the dark marks. Also, the seller has a no return policy, so it would be awful if the bag was in fact moldy. I would save your money, be patient, and keep an eye out for the perfect bag for your next project! :]

Red is just tricky in a vintage rehab. I really couldn’t say. I just passed on berry Light Tote because the pics weren’t clear. I didn’t want to be disappointed.
I’ve been lucky with a lot of BT rehabs, I just don’t feelas adventurous with red. I can wait for something I feel more comfortable with.

Hi Rehabbers, Didn't someone rescue an identical little red NYC bag with a tubular strap recently? I tried to find the post but couldn't.

Yes I do agree with the pp, it is a dinky. I have been seeing a few of them on eBay of late. And yes, there are a few red compartment bags out there too. Lol there are a few of you here that get your bag authenticated, then you show them on Rehab, then I see your bag listed on multiple sites , so I can end up seeing the same bag a lot!!
