Oh my goodness. I always thought "Oh people must be exaggerating when they talk about strong perfume smells in bags." NOPE Just had an ebay bag delivered and I must now sincerely apologize to anyone I doubted. I think I'm going to have to put this one far away from my desk b/c it's making my eyes water.

So I had another terrible black gone gray bag I was dying and knocked over the dye bottle. Lol! I was working on a mat but the dye spilled and went under the mat and my table turned black. I wiped off with paper towel and poured 70% alcohol to clean up the dye. But it wouldn't come off.
But thank God for magic erasers! It cleaned up the dye! The table has a few gouge marks from my kids drawing on the table so I can't get the dye out of that but it's not as terrible as it was before. [emoji18]IMG_20171103_160038629.jpgIMG_20171103_161207219.jpg

That's amazing! I didn't think magic erasers would work better than alcohol!

P.S. sounds like something I would do. My elbows are always knocking things over.

This morning rehabbing a very dry and scratched vintage rambler in brown, I have very high hopes for a successful rehab of this one:

and a kisslock tote in a rather scary light color that's generally in great shape (but has a pocket full of loose tobacco and even a cigarette butt!) but has a few dark spots. This has a glued in serial number that fell off and was actually in the bottom of the bag so I'm going to glue it back on. That's the first time I've ever found one of those little strips loose in the bag..
