Found this NYC bag today and it will be next on my rehab list. It's in pretty good shape, just needs a bath and conditioning. Will the handles be ok if I dunk? Also, anyone know the name and how old it might be? I have seen it here before and loved the shape, so I was so excited to finally find one! I want to say it's a watermelon tote, but I am not sure. 20171007_131019.jpg 20171007_131008.jpg Thanks to @whateve for authenticating!

You know you can ask for an ID with the authentication, but you need to provide measurements. There were two similar styles, the watermelon tote and the watermelon satchel. The tote was style #9440 and had an open top, and the satchel had the zipper was style #9441, but then Coach decided to make things confusing and called #9441 a tote, not showing whether or not it had a zipper. Both had measurements of 13 x 10 x 3.

The zipper pull sticking out of yours looks odd. I'd like to see a picture of it.

@whateve , measurements are 13x10x3. Below is a pic of zipper pull. In looking at zipper pull, looks like it might not be original to the bag. ATTACH=full]3846432[/ATTACH]

Yep, it isn't original. It looks homemade. The metal part might be original.

@whateve , looks like I will need to find a better pull. That one is pretty flimsy and I am not crazy about how it looks.

It would be nice if you could make or find one that is close to the original.

What did the original zipper pull look like on that bag? Here's one on Etsy and they are using the hangtag chain as the zipper pull!

Here's an alternative suggestion while you are searching for the correct pull, but it's not as good as replacing a lost zipper pull with an original or matching pull. I have used a split brass ring (a keyring) as a substitute zipper pull. If it matches the hardware then it will look better than that homemade pull and it will be functional.
