Came across this one on PM. Something didn't quite sit right with me, so I searched the serial number. And WOW, the number of posts I found about this infamous fake serial code ... 👀

Damn! I watch videos from the guy that butchers luxury bags, and he's been using Entrupy to authenticate.

He was invited by TRR to visit their NJ location, to show how their process works of authenticating luxury items. One of his videos was about a Hermes he bought from TRR, and the type of leather was incorrect. He got a bunch of comments on the video from people saying they received fake bags from TRR.
I read somewhere - possibly reddit - that TRR has been known to have authenticity issues from time to time, specifically with bags. Kinda brutal for a company whose entire business model is built around authentic high-end goods. I don't think the issue is as bad for TRR versus PM or ebay. I noticed they donate some of their bags to GW, complete with their branded dust bag, which GW seems to like placing in the listing kind of like, "See? It's from TRR, so it's authentic." Not so fast....

The GW listing had me scratching my head because I don't remember ever seeing a style number that starts with zero, while acknowledging my ignorance. So I Googled, found the listing and then looked up the serial in my notes on fakes...ta da!

Coach sometimes BUT NOT ALWAYS added a zero on the creed stamp in front of style numbers that used only 3 digits, to make them compliant with the new 4-digit style number format. The 3-digit style numbers were used mostly for business and travel items, but some handbags such as many of the early 2000s Scribble styles also had them.

Poshmark won't do squat but the same seller is on ebay as poshiswhereitsat and the same POS fake was already removed from Ebay about 15 minutes ago.

Reporting fakes on Poshmark is a waste of time.
This was a screenshot of the ebay listing:

ETA: Ebay seller poshiswhereitsat has added a new (different) listing of a Korean fake:

Poshmark is actually reviewing (and deleting) some listings for authenticity before putting them live on people's closets now. As a matter of fact, one of the fake bag listings you posted here got deleted. It looks like they're finally taking authenticity reports seriously now.

I myself had to wait for Posh to review my own listing for a KSNY bag that I bought directly from their boutique. It only took a few hours and my listing is already up for sale.

Here is the email I got from their support:

I'd like to believe they check but I don't know how many listings are verified and how accurate their authenticators are. (We've heard stories posted stating that fake Coaches (posted here) were reviewed by their experts and found to be authentic.

But if they're trying to check before listings go live, that wouldn't be a bad thing.

In the case of the listings above, I don't know whether the seller lurks here and read the posts, or if she may have ended her own listings after they were removed from ebay.

I wonder why there are so many Korean made fakes in Japan!
