Holy Cwap.

Is "Mascot "actually a real brand?

That last one has to be some kind of Korean fake. They're still using the same cheapo translation program.

I was selling a coach purse and was told it was fake. Did a lot of research and I really do think it is a fake and here are the pictures. Notice the misaligned print fabric. Now I have a fake coach purse that I don’t know what to do with. 7CE56A34-D8AF-49A2-9ECB-CE9D586DFA84.jpeg4B8D572A-20C2-4243-95BF-88B9409279FF.jpeg992A10EB-8A49-4A01-BAE0-6320919A36FF.jpeg

By the way, I’ve lurked for 2 years! You guys are great and have taught me so much. You’ve also caused me to lose a lot of money as I found I cannot sell anything that’s not real due to having ethics.

The bag is fake.

Whoever contacted you did you a huge favor because if the listing were reported and removed, your account would have been dinged, potentially limiting your ability to sell.

In the future, please verify authenticity on the authentication thread of items BEFORE listing.

There are several serious problems especially the serial number.

BTW, the pattern is not misaligned in several of the circled areas, the fabric is trying to copy the Scribble pattern and there's no way the letters can align along the vertical seam in a poorly designed copy of the pattern like they do with the standard C pattern. In fact, there shouldn't even BE a vertical seam, the entire front of the bag or the front pocket on a genuine Scribble tote should be one solid piece of fabric so there's no need to even align the pattern. The details of the Cs aren't right, and there's a misspelling in the creed too. Did you read it closely? There are several other problems but the invalid serial number is the big one. You wouldn't ever find a genuine Coach that looks like that one.

THAT'S why highly faked brands like Coach should always be authenticated before buying or selling, and only by someone who knows what details to look at.

The fake was probably trying to copy this style:

Thank you! I am learning a lot from this site. I bought these two years ago off an auction page. They never authenticated anything but I figured since they were on an auction site they would’ve done that. Big learning lesson with that. Half the purses are fake Thank goodness I didn’t pay that much for them.

It might have been copying this one. (The sides on the genuine one have snaps that can be unsnapped for a more open look)10673 scribble tote.png:
