This is another seller in the Japanese fake-selling ring.

There are other "Coach" items without adequate pictures to know they're fake but these have the telltale images:

Well, nice job Ebay! None of the above 3 listings were removed and 2 have been sold to unwitting buyers. :(

I bought a bag on Mercari at what would be a good price if it were authentic figuring if it were a fake I'd just send it back. Welp, when I got it, it was immediately obvious it was a fake. I wrote to the seller and let her know, giving her the benefit of that doubt in my message that "I'm sure you didn't know or you wouldn't have sold it," sent the requisite photos & explanation to Mercari, and was approved for a return.

Guess who has reactivated that same listing and is once again trying to sell a bag she now definitely knows is fake. Link to the listing below, followed by of some my personal photos of the bag as well, since the listing conveniently doesn't show the serial number.

Seller: Britty55746
Listing: https://www.mercari.com/us/item/m33487222529/?iv_code=EBMWED&object_id=m33487222529&object_type=item

7EED942B-8019-43E2-B5E7-20C803F59CC7.jpeg469A3959-7DF9-44BB-9D95-02CE426E4C89.jpeg8B50C7DE-7EA5-44D9-957C-A8EF397C759A.jpegBA73C03B-AE6D-4A07-97FD-6AA514F6D42B.jpeg51D1C434-42D2-4EE0-ACF5-E597DF16E54D.jpeg7D12BFFA-E9D9-4D75-A9F3-D0D70835C7EC.jpeg

I came out fine in this situation since I know what to look for (or at least who to ask) and had the time to deal with returning it. The average buyer might not. I don't understand why Mercari would let her reactivate that listing when the bag was returned for authenticity reasons. Bizarre.

I reported the listing again, but who knows what they'll actually do. As of right now 3 people have it in their carts. ‍¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I find that Mercari rarely removes a listing based on just 1 report but when there are multiple reports, they tend to take the listings down. Hopefully, it'll happen this time, especially with the number of reports your post will generate.

Did you leave appropriate feedback for Britty55746? Clearly, it's no longer an "honest mistake."

ETA: Do not buy from Britty55746!

She also has this fake Dooney: https://www.mercari.com/us/item/m24384296283/

And sold this other fake Coach: https://www.mercari.com/us/item/m10696126828/

Unfortunately didn't get to leave feedback since I returned it. Doesn't even show up in my purchases. It would almost be like it never happened except that I still have the emails and if I click on the Message button on the fake Coach listing it brings me back to the conversation we had about the original purchase before I returned it. That's part of what makes this somewhat egregious—it's not like she made a new listing and Mercari just didn't notice; she literally reactivated the bad listing. Oy.

I sent Mercari a separate message about it to follow up, but no response yet. Thanks for reporting!

Good news and bad news:

The good news is that the active listings - fake Coach and fake Dooney - were removed.

The bad news is that Mercari doesn't removed sold fakes even if reported so the fake that was sold is still showing.

It looks like Britty55746 also sells on poshmark:

Mercari refuses to take this incredibly obvious fake down despite it being reported more than once:

seller: @emmascloset

The seller changed the listing name to Patricia from Willis, but the photo of the creed is still 9927
