Hello, totally new to this but I was wondering is there an online place where I can view past Coach collections from at least 2006? I'm looking for a Coach bag and I am having the worst time looking for it.

Hi! Not sure if this is the blog to ask this: Is the Sateen fabric very delicate. I called a Coach store to ask if they had a style in the Op Sateen. The SA said they did, but that it was very delicate and not to be worn every day. She said there could be dye transfer if you were to wear jeans. I should have asked which way the dye transferred...from the jeans to the purse, or from the purple Op Sateen to the jeans.

Just wondering if the black on black sateen is too delicate to use everyday.

Thanks!

i sell coach at macy's and i also own quite a few bags. i would in no way say that the black on black op art print fabric is too delicate for an everyday bag.

any of those in a black/black signature would be absolutely fine for an everyday bag. i have no idea why u were told it wasnt practical as an everyday bag. i think the SA thought u were talking about maybe a lighter color sateen fabric. black cant really color transfer as much. the only colors you have to worry about color transfer are the lighter ones. black bags are usually the best bags for everyday use cuz they usually dont pick up much of any dirt.

Thanks again!!! Anyone else have a thought?

I have a vintage Coach...Great Leather..Serial No G9P-9310. I love it for its great leather. Will last generations! Now I love Coach for its great styles, but I am disappointed when I read Patent Leather. I have a newer (Pink Patchwork Carly) but am worried that the handles are patent leather. As a girl, I was told by my mother, it is a nice way to say fake leather (plastic). Tell me, Coach is NOT using patent leather, please.
Coach was known as Coach Leather Company, I think, so fake leather cannot be part of their company. Maybe I am wrong...maybe patent leather is a finish on the leather to give it the real shiney, smooth look.
Thanks in advance to experts for responding to this post.

I tried to delete this post and move to a different section but I guess I just don't know how to travel around here, yet.

I was looking at the Madison Claire or Sabrina, the Poppy Spotlight Tote or the Optic E/W Gallery Tote. So is the jacquard much more durable? Thanks again!
The Jacquard fabric is much more durable than the sateen, or satin..When I picked up my tote at the outlet , the sa's said they hold up better and it does matter how you are with your bags too.I personally don't like the black fabric because you can see lint and what not. It really is personal preference though:)Good luck deciding!
