I hope you'll stick around! You've been helpful and friendly in my posts before. When I first came here I was treated similarly: when I would ask a question some wouldn't deign to answer, would rather just write go search here for your answer or read other threads. Would make a show of calling me newbie. Really annoying, petty things. I don't know why it happens either!!

But, the point of my post is this: I hope you won't let it drive you away and will continue to post. :)

Ladies! We talk about purses and accessories - no need for drama! At work when things get testy, we always remind ourselves that our job should be fun because we sell bags- nobody's lives are at stake!

Also remember, this is just the internet and over half the time- the way you read something is different from how the writer intended it to come out.

Oh I do hope you stay! I'm new and have always felt welcome here, but I can see how you'd want to leave if you feel that you're not treated fairly. It doesn't make for a very pleasant posting experience.

Please reconsider though!

and for the record, if anyone does not like to read certain threads because they feel they are repetitive then hey, heres an idea, DON'T READ AND DON'T PARTICIPATE IN THOSE POSTS! But for Petes sake, don't EVER make any member feel stupid for starting a thread. Last I checked, this forum is all about SHALLOW OBSESSING!

One of the forums I used to frequent had a little tag line "Don't take anything too seriously in here." We all need to go by this! I think we should all remember that this is a forum that is supposed to be a fun place to talk about our shared handbag addiction, not a place to be catty. I've never had a mean comment made toward me, but I do get annoyed at the "God, this has been discussed numerous times, search for it..." kind of responses that are given when a new member asks a question. We should make new members (and I'm still a newbie myself) feel welcome and the "seniors" should not be rude and pull rank because they have been a member of the forum longer.

God, there are much more important things in life than The Purse Forum...:rolleyes:
