Usually I pick a fob because I like it. Whether or not it matches a purse I own is secondary. Sometimes I'll find the perfect purse to match it much later so I'd hate to have passed up a fob I liked just because I didn't have a matching purse. I have some I've had for a long time - I've never found anything to match but I still like them.

This starfish turned out to be perfect for my edgepaint mini Preston. I think they were from the same collection.

Yea, that's kind of a bad feeling when you look down and the hang tag is missing. :cry:

You can also use a small pair of needle nose pliers to crimp the connector where it can't come apart too. I just prefer to tiny dab of 'adhesive' rather than smushing the connector.

It says 6 but I only see 5. What am I missing? I see a happy face, exclamation point, question mark, flip flop, and the travel charm.

You're right....only 5 fobs showing, I missed that the first time around. That makes it just a so-so deal for a collector. :huh:

There's also the 'auction p*ssing match' factor that might have played a part in the price going so high.

OMG! I just got a surprise in the mail from my friend!

After the Legacy elephant was posted on here and I found out that I had no way of procuring them from DSW, I resigned myself to the fact that ebay would be my only option to get one.

Then my tpf friend took it upon herself to find us the DSW fobs. I knew she had called around, ordered, went to the store, got one order that was wrong and then finally got 1 elephant in....and that was the story as I knew it....then today in the mail came....

Nice, I need a friend like that! I have been checking eBay since I saw them here and nothing. I also have checked my new DSW in hopes of finding one, but they have no designer keychains at all! It's such a cute little elephant!

So cute! What a nice surprise. The DSW near me had no Coach key chains. (Or coach bags either).

Actually I did get one and was hoping for a 2nd to give to my BFF. I was unable to find another so now I can NEVER show her mine! :death:

Lucky you! I'd love to find one. I will have to admire it from afar as I don't have a DSW either. I haven't seen them on ebay.

I'm still shocked they haven't shown up on eBay! I was the one that found the original one and I keep going back to the store where I found it in hopes of finding many more for TPFers. I'll certainly post here with my store info if I do see some!
