Holy cow! I just spent the last hour looking through the bazillions of fobs on eBay!! How do you pick?!?! Do you guys every use a silver toned fob on a purse with gold hardware? It seems like there are so many more silver fobs, but most of my bags have gold hardware.
I have a few silver fobs I use on bags with gold hardware. Sometimes everything else on the fob matches so perfectly that I overlook the hardware color. If you are really hardcore, some people switch out the rings to change the hardware color.

Usually I pick a fob because I like it. Whether or not it matches a purse I own is secondary. Sometimes I'll find the perfect purse to match it much later so I'd hate to have passed up a fob I liked just because I didn't have a matching purse. I have some I've had for a long time - I've never found anything to match but I still like them.

This starfish turned out to be perfect for my edgepaint mini Preston. I think they were from the same collection.

That is so pretty! Perfect pair. Seeing your Preston, now I really want a white w/ blue edge paint Sullivan.

Thank you! The white and blue is striking together! This is my first white bag and today was the first day I carried it. I've always been afraid of white. DH asked me if it was after Labor Day. I don't think he understands what that means!

I love mixing metals....if they work with the bag colour go for it!
They're like potato chips- you can't have just one! That's how we ended up in this keychain clubhouse. [emoji6] I usually try to match my fobs to the bag hardware, but I'm sure with the right fob it'd be fine!
:p priceless!

Another perfect match!

You know, if you want to make it a little shorter you can remove the Coach keyring and put the starfish and little hang tag directly on the 'snap ring' you have.....or even on a ball chain.

If that is the bag you're going to leave it on you can even use a tiny dab of clear nail polish or glue to make sure it can't come unattached. Just a little food for thought. ;)

thanks. I thought about doing something like that. It is just a tiny bit too long.

I really like the light blue on white contrast. it seems unlikely that you would find another perfect bag for this fob, but I wouldn't want to attach anything to permanently. especially on a white bag that might not wear over time as well. do you think perhaps the leather loop could be lengthened a tad bit to make the fob slightly shorter?

Anyone get any of these?

They all got bid up too high for me, and they didn't look like they were really new without tags. The only one I already have is the one that didn't sell.

Not me. I'm missing the calla lily, but do not want one in that condition.

No. :amazed:

A tiny dab of polish or glue will not make it permanent, just difficult to open. That keeps it from getting lost easily, but it can still be removeable with a little effort. I use that tactic with hang tag chains so they won't get lost. :smile1:

I don't think its $139 worth of rare....especially in that dirty condition.

I didn't think so. I only paid $30 for mine a few months ago. I hadn't been actively seeking it but I don't remember seeing any listed before.

Thanks. I just tried adjusting the leather loop, but it sprung right back. I think the best solution might be to remove it from the ring. I hate messing with them though.
