Hello and welcome to my journey into the world of
Coach fobs and fob addiction.
I started my collection a long time ago, way before I realized how many Coach keychains / fobs there actually were. I only had 3 rules when I started collecting, NO fur that should be on my pets and not on a fob, nothing I thought was ugly, no matter how rare they were and no glitter. The last rule is now moot because I found out that the devil's dust actually doesn't come off.
Once I started collecting I soon found myself filling up one large cork board, then another and then yet another. I intervened myself. lol! I decided that I could only keep the ones I really liked, so I culled quite a few fobs. I liked the results so much that I did another cull only keeping the ones I REALLY liked. I had many fobs that I decided I didn't like well enough to keep and even though they were rare, I sold them to make room and money for ones I really wanted. I was also determined not to buy another fob unless I REALLY liked it or if I was buying a cheap one to resell....yea, I used buy cheap from ebay and flip, not so much anymore....But, when I would buy one for resell, instead of listing it right away, I'd hang it on a board.
Once again my boards became crowded and hectic looking. I removed all the ones I'd bought for resale and re-arranged yet again. Now I'm quite satisfied with my collection. I have hundreds of lanyards, hang tags, purse charms and key fobs and my collection is close to complete. There are still about a dozen leather fobs on my want list and about a dozen metal fobs too.....of course they are all HTF / rare ones, but I will get them one day....I hope. And I'm sure Coach will continue to put out a few new ones that I will want.
I apologize for the photos, the lightening is bad for photos and they will also probably come out too large too. So, without further ado, I will post a few of my smaller boards for today.
