I stopped by yesterday and saw this sign and kept walking thinking 20% what a joke. But I forgot about the no PCE policy. Is this the way of the coach world now?

Yes, same here. Through JAX, the price is/was 795 usd and 845 cad. What's up with Coach? Who's minding the store? How can it be 1100 msrp in store but 795 usd through the distributor? Is that like wholesale pricing? What a mess.

They must have quoted you the price for the smaller versions, which which are that exact price.

Edit: Just saw that you had already pointed that out! :)

I did!! I'm ordering it! I've always loved the look of smythe but I'm not a big fan of gold hardware! I think the mink looks GORGEOUS!!!

Normally I wouldn't carry a bag with a print on it, but I was an Army brat and these are hitting all my nostalgia buttons. (Can't believe it's been over a decade since they switched to digis...)

I petted it in the store today and it's lovely. The leather is buttery soft and the color is awesome.

The croc is so expensive! My Macy's doesn't get much stock and I don't have a Bloomingdale's. My Coach store is about an hour away. I really want to be able to look at the croc mini Gramercy, the leather mini Gramercy, hopefully in red currant, the large Ranger in red currant, and the small Dakotah in whatever colors it comes in - all at the same time so I can figure out which ones I want. I don't want to commit to buy one item in red currant without seeing them all, only to find that another style I like only comes in red currant while the style I got comes in another color I also like. For example, I might get the croc mini Gramercy if I also like the red currant Ranger so I won't have two bags in the same color. It is difficult to decide when they don't release all the colors at the same time. Sorry for rambling! :nuts:

I know what you mean! The color looks different on all the bags--I think it looks best on the Crosby. I like a red, red. :smile1:

I didn't notice it when I first saw it, but the Gramercy leather is really thick which makes the regular size a bit heavy.

I went into today thinking that I was going to buy something--and nothing wowed me. Plus, I have to return the Page. I ordered it sight unseen and haven't received it yet--it's going right back!
