The red currant ranger is available at Macys for 20% off this week. The style number is 33544. It is a gorgeous true red. If you wish to buy it you would have to ask for it by the style number as it won't be out on the floor until most likely next week.

I figured the Ranger would be in department stores! Thanks for the info--I am going to be at Macys this weekend so I will check it out!:smile1:

I have a black leather Page on order--ordered sight unseen so I hope to see it this weekend. My order won't arrive until next week.

Thanks for the tip! I just picked one up from the FP store and may return it to go grab one from Macy's. Twenty percent off is enough to make the trip worthwhile.

FYI - The smooth leather is pretty delicate; the sides of the first few ranger bags I was shown were noticeably wrinkled/creased. It definitely wasn't due to poor packaging as those bags were wrapped up like mummies. :D Luckily, the third time was a charm and the third bag was in great condition.

I've heard Coach will price match Macy's, so then you could keep the bag you have! Worth a try, at least!

I just called the Coach customer service number and got shot down. Oh well -- I tried.


FYI - Lord & Taylor has items from the new set, including the Ranger bag in black and Page shoulder bag in floral print. They also have some Rhyder bags.


All items are 25% off with the Friends and Family discount. Happy shopping!

Hi. I am sorry your store did not have it. I went to Macy's Herald Square and asked them if they had the Ranger 33544 in red currant. They called downstairs to the stockroom and five minutes later someone brought it up. You need to ask for it by style number and ask them to check with their stockroom.
