I have the Rory in cobalt and I have noticed my color fading in the corners and in 2 spots along the bottom. I tried taking pics but I can't capture it. The corners are not very noticeable and it almost just looks like light reflecting. I'm not sure if I'm going to take it back or not...I love this bag.
Oh no, that shouldn't happen already. I would try to exchange for another while you still can. The Cobalt is my favorite color in the Rory! Beautiful color for that bag!

I probably will take Rory back. I haven't cut the tag off yet, but if my $400 bag starts fading or wearing in the corners right away I'll lose my mind. SO sad. I don't want to risk being told the fading is normal wear and tear. I'll probably get something non Legacy.
Good idea for the touch up markers if Coach would make them to match exactly but I still dont think the colors should rub off in the first place. For what we are paying the color really shouldn't come off, especially not for a long time.
That bag is gorgeous. Love the strap too. What is the square piece with the Coach logo?
How does the haircalf wear? I am considering getting the Clutch. Beautiful Bag. Enjoy her.
Thank you! The square piece with the Coach logo is a mirror on the back! Its really cute! The clutches are nice too especially for parties, etc. You just have to be careful with the haircalf.
I purchased a medium Legacy Duffle in Black Cherry yesterday (my SA gave me PCE discount on it. I was on the fence about buying it during the last PCE event). I just love the colour.
I am very disappointed to hear of the colour wear on the corners!

Stunning. I hope it wears well. I have the pinnacle haircalf clutch on its way to me, can't wait to pet it.
Anyone have any problems with the archival buckets? Also, has anyone's legacy bag sat in their dust bags yet and the color rub off onto the inside of the dust bag? That might be a good way to convince a SA that you weren't abusing it if it is just sitting in the dust bags.
So sad to hear about the color issues! I recently purchased a couple of legacy items. My current favorite is my penny bag in emerald. I was so excited to be branching out in color!! Now hearing these issues I'm way bummed
I took my penny out this weekend for the first time. I used her crossbody all day Saturday outside in very humid and hot weather. We walked over 5 miles (my hubby says) and I was worried about rubbing the color off because it was so hot and humid and that was before I read about this. I checked my bag and she doesn't have any color loss. I did spray her with apple spray before I used her. I don't know if that will help or not.
If I would've read this first I wouldn't have bought the legacy items I did. Now I am scared to use her and I hate that getting a new bag is supposed to be fun, not another thing to worry about.
