Has anyone with the worn off corners used Coach Moisturiser or Apple conditioner or anything on it after the wear & found that it fixed it?

It may be in a different thread but I responded to someone different legacy bag but sprayed her bag with apple spray before carrying her penny outside all day in hot and humid weather, no color loss.

That was me :) it was very very humid and hot. So much that I thought I was putting the bag through very harsh treatment and I told myself if I rubbed the finish off the bag it was my own fault!! I did apple spray her two times before using her. I looked her over real good today and no color loss (knock in wood) so far. I am going to spray the back and bottom of the bag every so often to try to keep the color from rubbing off!

I'm glad to hear your bag is fine but color shouldn't rub off that easily. I have never had that happen to any bag other than a metallic bag after 2 years of daily wear.

Thank you. I agree, it shouldn't rub off that easily at all. You are fortunate with your metallic bag lasting 2 years. I have bought a few metallic bags that had the finished rubbed off right from the store before any use

I just tried Apple conditioner and I can see a slight improvement. I took before and after pics,(cell phone so crappy), and the pic shows more of an after-mark than what my eye sees. I'm going to keep applying this for a few days and really let it soak in.

I bought a Mulberry recently and it's a heavy, thick and rough leather. It came with a 3 inch long scratch on the back. One dose of conditioner and I haven't seen the scratch since. Here's hoping!!!

I haven't put anything on mine. Given that the conditioners don't have color in them I can't see how they would replace the color loss on these legacy. It works on scratches of dyed leather because there is still color in the scratched area. But I asked because I'm hoping & because I'm sure they will just whip out the Coach Moisturiser at the store when I bring it back.

I guess it depends on how Coach finishes the leather. Some leather has a clear topcoat on it and maybe we are seeing a scuff in the topcoat but the color below that is untouched. I have no idea. :shrugs:
