I am just wondering, why isn’t it selling for them? The Rogues even are not moving. I am tempted to get one of them but lol, I guess I’m answering my own question, those lips are just too sexist, or, offensive, too loud, can’t put my finger on it but it doesn’t sit with my quite right. The leather lined side pockets on the light camel Rogue is a dream though!!! If only those lips were not there. For anyone interested, the Wesselmann collection is now in Clearance on the FOS.
It is one of those collections that only appeals to a certain subset of buyers. I think most of the people that wanted the items bought them already, and maybe a few more will buy at the lower prices.I am just wondering, why isn’t it selling for them? My personal tastes in what I choose to wear don’t align with pop art aesthetics. Knowing my friends, I don’t think any of them would purchase from this collection, either. I do appreciate any brand trying to collaborate and bring fresh collections out, but this choice for collab is very niche and I don’t think it appealed to the mass market.I am just wondering, why isn’t it selling for them? I read in a FB group that outlets aren't carrying retail deleted items anymore. If they have anything, they most likely are keeping it in the back (you can ask if they do) and it is a retail item that was returned to their store.
My outlet had shrunk down to one tiny wall of deletes for the longest time. This week I didn't see a single deleted retail item on the floor anywhere![]()
I was at my outlet today and the manager said the deletes were on the mannequin (only a couple items)In the past few months, I've been talking to outlet SAs at a few stores and they all said the same thing about needing to ask what's in the back. I asked one why they don't put more out in front, and she said that it's honestly because they don't have the room -- so much is produced for the outlets these days that they don't really even have the display space (at least in that store).
I've found some true gems by asking what's in the back.
The outlet closest to me has been the same -- one tiny wall of direct-from-retail, if there is anything at all (and often, there is a sum total of zero retail on the floor).
It's almost like they want customers to rely on coachoutlet.com for retail deletes.I was at my outlet today and the manager said the deletes were on the mannequin (only a couple items)![]()
