I won't be rebuying/returning either. Too much of a pain in the butt and everything arrived in perfect factory wrapped condition. I also don't have a nearby outlet and would have to pay return shipping.
I know, I paid for shipping for my last two items, and then paid for the return on the two coin purses. I just tried to remind myself I have had a lot of free shipping in the past, even on returns and to just be glad to get some money back. And especially nice that your items were in great condition!

Has anyone ever asked for an additional discount in store for a damaged item? I was in the FOS and there was a really cute Marloo but it had scratches on the back. I didn't get it because I thought it should have been cheaper. But I never thought to ask for a discount.

I tried both save10 and savemore10 - it says applied and $100 threshold not reached for discount even though the amount is $118. I'm not getting free shipping either so not really worth it.

Over the weekend they texted me SMS10 for $10 off $100. I couldn’t get it to work on most items but it worked on the Cassie ... so weird.

In the past when I was willing to buy a slightly damaged item (thinking I could condition it and such), I was offered a discount of something like 10 or 15% and told that the item would then be "final sale." I usually declined because that wasn't a big enough discount for the permanent commitment, but in one case when I took them up on it, the receipt did actually indicate damaged/final sale or something similar. This may have changed in recent years but I feel like it's always worth an ask!

Yes, I did a couple of weeks ago on a Parker that had a few dents in the leather in the back. They gave me and additional 10% ( plus the regular 70% + I had a 20% coupon). They did say it was a final sale and couldn't be returned.

I will just ignore all of your savings updates and be happy with my pricier bag when it comes, lol! i just can't bear to deal with FOS more than I have to...
I agree. Plus I'm sure they are keeping up with individual returns and could lock people out of the sale if they appear to be making too many. I only bought the midnight Cassie and I'm satisfied with the price I got.

Here's something, for what it's worth. I bought a bag from FOS on Sunday at 50% off. Today, of course, it's 60% off. Small additional percentage, difference of almost $50 counting sales tax. I had some down time late this afternoon and called to request a price adjustment. Bag hasn't been delivered yet so thought I could make a case. No problem, got the price adjustment without begging. It might be worth a call, especially if you can do it now-ish.

@whateve can you check something for me? I just got the metallic color block camera bag and when I opened the zipper I saw the packing paper stuffing had stains on it from the zipper. It got on my fingers too when I touched the zipper so I took a tissue and wiped the whole zipper. I don't understand why would a brand new bag that came perfectly packaged have this? Can you do a wipe check of your bag's zipper to see you get the same? Is this something I should be worried about? Does Coach use some sort of lubricant on the zipper during manufacturing so it glides easily? I wiped all the hardware down so hopefully nothing gets stained when I use the bag.
Mine is fine, no stains or grease. I haven't unpacked it completely yet.

Yes some will do it. Some won’t. Glad you were successful:smile:

This week has been very enabling. Once again, inconsistent Coach, now doing FOS price adjustments, is getting me in its clutches. I have avoided all of this price insanity for about the last three years. Sucked me right back in.
I haven't bought anything from FOS or in store recently. My life has been blissful! Coach can be so aggravating!
