This is soooooo not my typical colors but oddly enough I love this bag. $275 seems too much though.
I like that too... I like the bags with unusual detail. I did find after I bought one Riley, that one was enough because I like the bag enough for one--but the accordian style gets a little crazy -- in that you can't just leave the turnlock open on the bag. If you don't close the turnlock, such as when you are in a hurry, the bag pops open partway. lol. I do think that is pretty though!

This wouldn't have worked for me a year ago. I've downsized to just phone, keys, rosary, small wristlet, and small trifold wallet for most days now though and everything fits well. I really need to work on pulling my seldom used larger bags to sell though.
It is funny because they fit enough for me, given I am a small bag girl. It is more about the square-ish shape with the zipper in the middle, and they stick out a little further than I like. I have tried some bags like this, and I never end up keeping them. So I try to stay away now even if they are cute, lol!

That is great that the downsizing is working for you so well! I completely get downsizing the larger bags. I didn't have many of them, but I am really more drawn to my smaller bags now. I only pull out the Dreamer and the Charlie 28 bags once in a while, and otherwise use my smaller bags most of the time. It is so much lighter and easy to use those.

I'm also looking at a Riley! But I'm worried about what it can fit. I couldn't really find any "what fits" videos or info on it.
Have you seen or used a Dinky bag yet? It is similar to that fit, except that maybe it holds a tiny bit more because of how it expands. But about the same amount in general. So I put in the same things I put in my dinky bags. I have a card case, mini skinny, my phone, and then a few extraneous items like id badge for work, pen, chapstick. You could probably fit a tiny bit more than that, but nothing huge.

I'm a sucker for roses and sequins so this bag has 2 things I'm obsessed with lol. Chalk scares me though, especially since I'm pretty much always in black lol

Then you need chalk in your life! lol. I never bought or wanted white/chalk, and now I have 3 bags with it. It really provides a nice balance, contrast, and variety. I have the meadow flower dinky and Charlie 28, and I have the dalmatian dinky, and I love all of them. Oh, and I have the chalk Cassie with sig/oxblood. I have been pleasantly surprised. And I do like the Riley quite a bit...again, I just only need one.

The zipper is a bit annoying but I'm willing to put up with it for the pretty metallics and adorable thumper lol. I would never buy it in a "basic" color scheme though. I keep getting RA flare ups so have been trying hard to carry as little as possible most days. I will be hanging on to most of my totes and Edie 42s though. They work really well for doctors appts and lugging my kid's crap around lol.

Okay, hm. The dinkys could work for me, it's just that kisslock that ends up taking up space/shape.
Though for only 50% yeah, I'm so torn. I don't know if the sale will get better though, especially since coach hid the link for reserve!

So the riley doesn't have the kisslock in the way so you are in business...you will have more room :-)

I know, right? But this bag is cute and fits the new small bag criteria. lol! There is always more room for the small bags versus the large ones, so it is easier to encourage buying. Now, a Rogue, I would say, don't buy another one!
Definitely no more rogues, I even resisted the prussian blue since I love my dark denim stardust a lot more. I'm also trying to get rid of 5 more rogues, just having a hard time deciding. I think I will try the riley, but if it isn't instant love it's getting packed right up immediately.

Good plan. I tried two other Rileys after the KF one you found for me, and I returned them immediately. Neither one of them lived up to the KF one. They were nice, but I didn't love them. I could tell right away.

Oh no, I specifically avoided getting a dinky because of that kisslock (good for me, I thought)! If the Riley fits at least the same amount if not more...

Nnn. I can resist.

(Hilariously, the reason I even started looking at Riley bags is because of the name of them. I wasn't a huge fan of any of the top handle ones currently available though, so it was easy enough to pass by. The Rileys that just hit the outlet website, however, are the ONE style that I think would work for me, and one of those bags JUST HAPPENS to be part of a collaboration I really like.)
