Has anyone ever seen factory outlet bags being sold in department stores before? I was in Dillards over the weekend and I was in the Coach department when I spotted a mini bennett. I thought that was odd and asked the sale associate the price and she looked at the tag and said $295. I paid less than $100 for the one I purchased on the online factory outlet. I hope nobody pays that price for it.
No, and they shouldn't be sold there, but I bet someone brought it in as a return, and the SA didn't know any better.
Someone just asked this question on the main forum....they said that sometimes Coach does have outlet in department stores. I can't find it but I think @whateve answered the question. I wasn't aware of it either until that post.
I originally posted it because I was so shocked to see them in Dillards. They looked so out of place.

What I said is that sometimes they will make factory styles specifically for a particular department store. Sometimes they will make older styles as a department store exclusive. It is up to Coach and the department store to decide what can be sold there. In the past, these bags may have been identical to Coach factory bags but they had a creed that indicated they were made for department stores. I don't know if they still do this.
I wonder when it starts as the old sale is up til 5:30 am but they pulled all reserve
So the sale rebooted at 5:30 and I see no new bags and no retail
This is so dumb.....looks like pricing went higher on some of the mff stuff too.
There's 20 percent until 2 but then everything is more than it was last sale. Maybe they'll add reserve when the 20 off ends...
