Twinsies lol! Funnily enough I've been scoping out a black LP for aaaages! I love my Darshan LP but it's canvas and I refuse to take it out when it's wet outside. I usually prefer a more structured tote, too.

I'm sure the dimensions are wrong. I don't know any bag that's 3 feet wide but I'd like to see it :laugh:

So if it's cm or the same size as the other zip tote that's more reasonable:laugh:
If it's only 10" high I think it's a bit too small to replace my large Pliage. Maybe for lighter days.

I really resisted buying that large black Pliage but it sure has been useful!

I had tried the Mercer tote as a replacement but it was huge and heavy.

I got this bag during the last sale. It's 13" across x 10" tall X 4.5" deep. It's not a big bag by any means but I love it. Here it is with my large LP.

Haha, we were posting at the same time! Thank you so much, your picture is so helpful. It really is smaller than it seems in the stock photo, much smaller than the pliage. I'm glad I know now, so I have a better idea of what to expect when it comes.
Do you know if it fits about the same amount as a medium long handle pliage?

The Mercer tote is so large, I swear you could put a small child in it

The comparison pics make it look small to the pliage, maybe because the tote is structured

It's a little smaller than the medium and won't fit as much just because of the way it's structured. Even though the Coach is a little taller, the zipper is inset to where the zipper heights are exactly the same.

Thanks for the comparison pics!! I'm "replacing" my MK metallic tote (not my link) which is too large for me and wide like a Coach east/west tote. I accidentally hit people and knock things off of shelves with it all the time!

ps, soooo jealous of your amethyst LP! best purple ever!

ooh, it's small. Thank you so much. I do like the pattern though so it might still have a home in my closet. :smile1:

Those colorful Pliages is what had made it so difficult for me to just buy the black one!! I love all the colors.

Considering the current sale has very few deletes it has become a bit costly for me. On the first day I ordered the tatum tooled leather tote. My only other tote I own is the hologram one and I've been hunting something with tooled leather for awhile. I have never seen it irl though so I hope it's not too big. I am also hoping maybe I could take it to a leather shop to add a detachable strap similar to the Bloomingdale's exclusive tatum tote. I doubt I would use the detachable strap much but it would be nice to have the option for certain occasions.

Tonight I finally caved and ordered the metallic purple iris lyla crossbody. The straps are detachable and it looks like a nice size to hold my necessities and throw into a diaper bag. I've been eyeing the metallic purple iris for awhile in pebbled leather. Since it is in clearance with free shipping it's probably the best time to get it and try it out. I just wish it didn't have the big oval logo on the front.

I've been tempted to get a Lyla a few times so please let us know how you like it! Did you know there is a slip pocket between the two sections? I think that would be very handy for a phone when carrying it crossbody, or other items when using it inside a diaper bag or tote.

I was researching it on ebay tonight and noticed that. That slip pocket made me feel even more sure of my decision to order! I think this little bag will come in handy at zoo trips in the Spring too. Just big enough for keys, cell, money, and ID all neatly organized.
