I live in the Napa Valley and I haven't really seen a ton of Coach here (and we just got an outlet too). I do see more signature than leather classic style here though, but I don't see the classic styles going away anytime soon. I just got a Stitched Sig. Hobo and I haven't seen any here.

I mostly see the younger crowd carry the signature and the older crowd carry the leather classics and I have both, lol.

I do see many Coach bags here in NY but I also see boat loads of LV, not to mention all the imposters. I guess the only thing that matters to me is do I love the bag. If the answer is YES I really don't care what everyone else is doing.

It is everywhere because Coach has made itself mainstream and accessible by constantly moving product so quickly into the outlets, inturn gets out on Ebay . . . which can get anywhere.

I live in a very small country/rural town, that receives a lot of tourism from all over the world. I have noticed perhaps two handfuls of Coach bags. Most are signature and more obvious.

There are a lot of Coach bags that I do think are trendy and definately seasonal, which I do think are fun and maybe even for the moment, but are not classics.

To me (class)ic doesn't scream, it doesn't even speak, it whispers, it's understated, quiet, has substance, elegant, sophisticated, perhaps even some simplicity about it.

We make the purses, the purses don't make us!! When I bought my mini SUV, I started seeing it EVERYWHERE. Mine is black and they are not that many. I put a cool tag on the front and I made it unique. It is hard not to notice because as Coach and purses fan, we are ALWAYS on the look. That is very normal. Putting a scarf here or a charm there makes a difference and remember we are all fashion conscious, hard working, stylish ppl and that makes us special, really!!!

I do notice a lot of coach and LV's and some dooneys. I don't think I've noticed any legacy around town. Mostly c's, soho hobos, and lv speedies.
It doesn't bother me. I was talking to a lady at a party last week, she has an authentic lv alma which is older now but looks so classic. She said it bugs her not to see so many lvs but so many fake lvs.

I also saw a couple of girls carrying their really NICE and BIG Coach bags...why would you carry a nice, big bag to (what is basically) a huge "block party"?!!?
Has anyone else noticed just a TON of Coach bags around your town lately, or am I just noticing more of them now that I am INTO them and have my eye out?
I'll tell you what...I do LOVE the Signature styles - I think they (as someone else's post said) "scream Coach", but I think from now on I'd like to stick with more "unique" styles: I have not seen anyone (so far) carrying my Legacy Blk/Kh/Eb Shoulder Zip. I've only seen ONE Denim Carly (the lady at the GYM?!?!? carrying her Large one). I also like the classic, leather styles...which brings me to one question:
should I stick with the Denim Carly or try to get an all leather one?!!?/ Do you think the Carly Denim pattern/fabric will stick around (style-wise) for years to come or is it a fad/trend?!?!?

I totally agree with you.... I have started buying other brands because it's a Coach overload around here also. I still like Coach bags but now I tend to buy the more expensive leather ones instead of the signature ones.

Think of it this way, most people in the Coach forum have a Coach bag. We could be some of those people that you are seeing walking around with them. There's no reason why someone who likes/wants one shouldn't be able to carry it. I also agree that it depends on HOW you wear it and your own personal style- that really makes the look. Put your own personal spin on it, you will still look unique.

I'm in SA too, and I've noticed a lot more of the Coach signature bags around in the past couple of years. I've mainly switched to the leather bags. The only signature bags I don't see around are last year's cotton signature style, but I expect since they brought that line back, we'll start seeing more.

yes coach is everywhere. I think it has alot to do with the fact that they sell coach in department stores now, not just the boutiques. they are much more accessible to more people now. I do steer clear from the signature line myself and try to stick with the not so obvious (only to coach lovers) styles. I know what you mean though - I'm getting that way about LV mono too - I find myself gravitating away from the mono lines and stick with epi, vernis, damier, etc. my monos don't get out much lately unless they are accessories....

Coach, or any other AUTHENTIC designer bag, is a rarity up in these parts! LOL!:lawl:

I swear my sister, my 14 year old niece and I have the only authentic Coach bags in the whole city!:shrugs:
