Does anyone have the 40 in Honey Brown? Just wondering if that one has burnishing, cannot tell from the photos on Dillards.

Also, has anyone bought the 28 in Chalk, just wondering if it’s a creamy white, or grayish white.

Burnishing on Honey varies from bag to bag. Mine is slight-to-obvious depending on the lighting. But seriously, if there was no burnishing at all, it’s still a beautiful, warm color.

I recently touched up some slight color loss on the bottom corners of a high-end bag with leather paint. I used a light hand and dabbed along the way with a damp microfiber cloth. It turned out perfect! I say this because I’m thinking about using the same technique to add more burnishing to both my Honey and Dark Navy.

Here’s the burnishing on my Honey as it came. I conditioned it with Bick 4.

It’s very subtle and usually most noticeable on the bottom of the bag. They are doing a REALLY limited restock of the 48 in Honey brown. Only in stores and it’s first come first serve

Beautiful! I ordered a navy 40 off the site and I’m crossing my fingers the one I get has some relatively decent burnishing (which is already hard enough to see on the navy ones)

Well I have no willpower and couldn’t handle the FOMO. I actually bought a Navy 40 some time back and returned it but kept thinking about it and now here I am 🙈

Something about the burnishing on the Merlot just goes so well. I was comparing the 40 and 48 in store, the burnishing is a lot more noticeable on the 40, maybe due to the smaller size?

I want a Merlot 48, but at this current rate I will be broke with no closet space left lol, congrats on the bag!

These are both colors that I don’t have but am keeping an eye on as well. I feel the navy would go so well with the Merlot, both kind of dark and moody colors. The honey is a nice change, I like the lack of burnishing on it.

Ugh, I wish they would just say these aren’t being discontinued so my FOMO can let my bank account rest lol

I agree, I fell for more FOMO LOL. I got the kisslock backpack in dark brown, and decided to get the Empire 48 in Maple to compliment it. Luckily my boutique had one in stock, the 48s are all sold out online. The dark brown is definitely more of a milk chocolate, but I do love that there is a bit of contrast. The backpack is HUGE and makes the 48 look small! I'm debating whether or not to get the new XL dark brown hang tag that's about the size of an iPhone lol.

Thank you! I decided to dress my empire up with some accessories, not sure if this is too much lol. The XL hang tag charm is even BIGGER hahah. I wish I could add some of these to my Kisslock, the backpack doesn't really have anyplace to hang charms unfortunately

I saw someone post about about recently purchasing a Soft Empire 28 and I found these two on Amazon (literally can’t find them anywhere else): Black Soft 28 and
Honey Brown Soft 28. I’ve included some screenshots from the Amazon listing.

They seem to be different from the standard 28 (looks like in this one they’re using the natural grain leather similar to the 40 vs the glovetanned in the regular 28). No middle compartment. And looks softer and not as rigid as the regular 28.

Anyone know if these are new drops that Amazon happened to get first? Or were they a limited run from last year that’s come back around?

Wow this also has a zip top closure. I own a 28 in Maple but it's like the 26- middle compartment, no top zip closure. The leather is soft though but the middle compartment keeps the bag structured.

Ohhh! I knew the og 28 had the middle zipper but somehow didn’t click that it also didn’t have a complete top zip closure. I love Coach’s maple colors so I wonder if they’ll have this new one in maple too (hoping they will)
