Thank you! I really appreciate it!It's authentic. It just seems to have some very minor damage on the circular tag.
You're welcome. It's a gorgeous bag...enjoy!!Thank you! I really appreciate it!
The bag is authentic and looks to be a newer bag. Enjoy it!Hello!
I'm thinking of buying this Stella McCartney Foldover Bag in Butter Cream from Lungoliving Fashion (https://www.lungolivignofashion.com...cartney/bags/recycled_polyester_falabella_bag) but I am unsure if it's authentic. Could someone kindly help me?
I already have the same one in red with silver chains and I compared them, in general the butter cream looks authentic to me but I have doubts because on the smaller gold plate inside of the bag there are some quality issues - one "L" has a dark spot and above the "N" there is also a spot (I have marked it on the pictures). Also the chains seem less heavier than the silver chains and the black textile tag inside is on the right side.
Thanks for your help!

I already authenticated this bag but thanks for chiming in!The bag is authentic and looks to be a newer bag. Enjoy it!
Hi Jess! I don’t mind whatsoever if we have another authenticator. Actually I think it’s great because you’re correct that I don’t check this forum that frequently. And when people are deciding on a purchase they often don’t have time to wait for a reply. I totally agree that the people who end up buying fakes have never seen an authentic Falabella in person. My first designer bag purchase was a black foldover tote with silver chains. Back then I didn’t know so much about the bag and worried if it was authentic because I bought it on eBay. So that’s how I came across this forum. The authenticator at the time told me it was fake but I actually had SM reps authenticate it for me and they said it was real. What a relief that was. After that I was hooked on the brand since 2016. I love hardware on a bag and the fact they’re so eco friendly is wonderful! I actually just bought another black foldover like my first one for a steal on eBay. It’s in amazing condition too. I actually prefer the small totes to the foldover Falabellas because I can wear it over my shoulder unlike the foldover unless you fold it but I never feel they hang right when I try. I also like the minis and have 2 of them In chamois ruthenium (my favorite color) and redwood. They truly are beautiful well made bags.I have been raving about the Falabella bags on this forum for years before you joined. There weren’t that many people interested and it didn’t and still doesn’t have its own subforum. As for this thread, I just naturally stumble into Falabella discussions.
I noticed that you don’t post very frequently. I think that whoever is present to assist in an authentication helps out the posters - especially when the decision might have to be made quickly. It appears that you prefer to be the sole authenticator. I don't mind who helps the posters but I might have to chime in if you are not around.
I'd say that the vast majority of Stella fakes are obvious to anyone who has familiarity with the bags. It appears that most of the people purchasing have never handled one in person. I think this is what makes it easy to sell people fakes. Although, I have been surprised by the detail of some recent fakes.
It’s nice to meet another Falabella fanatic. I was smitten by this bag ever since it was released and I still add to my collection.
I’m glad you found the YKK because the bag is definitely authentic. This style is such a classic and was my first Falabella! You have nothing to worry about with this bag!Anyone??

I also agree with you that some of the fakes are getting a little harder to spot. They usually can’t get the lining right but I once bought a black with gold chains foldover that was fake. The only way I could tell was by the lack of the YKK zipper.

It’s unfortunately not authentic. Hope you can return it!
That’s ironic we both started with the black foldover with silver chains! Granted that was definitely the most popular style bag then. I love your mini in mist. I actually have the Falabella card holder in that color. I have 4 of her card holders that zip on top because I like to carry some cash too. And one long black continental wallet. I prefer the card holders especially for my minis because they don’t take up much space. And another bonus of the Falabellas is you can easily spot clean them. The minis are now my favorites. Because it’s easier to find stuff in them as opposed to a small tote or foldover. I’ll try your trick with folding them over. They can only go 2 ways so I’ll figure it out.My first Falabella was also a black foldover with silver chains! I have many other designer bags from LV, Gucci, Saint Laurent but the Falabella still excites me and is my favorite everyday bag.
The foldover can fold neatly if you orient the bag with the interior pocket facing your body and then fold away (not sure if I was clear). There is only one direction where the fold will be neat.
My daily bag is the Falabella crossbody bag (black with black chains) but I just purchased the mini in the color MIST (I inserted a pic below). I also want the tiny in a more striking color.
I've never had any issues with any of my Falabella bags.
Thank you!!The bag is authentic and looks to be a newer bag. Enjoy it!
