It says it sold! Did you purchase it? I’m sure it was fine. Fakes have a certain thing about them that they just can’t get right. Usually the shape is wrong and stitching is too large or thick. Let me know if you bought it!! It was definitely in great condition from the outside! I enjoy helping ppl avoid getting scammed or buying fakes. Some sellers honestly have no idea they’re selling a fake. But there’s a couple on eBay who list the same black foldover every few weeks as new and authentic and start the bid low and before you know it they end up getting 10 bidders and someone ends up wasting over $400 on a $45 bag. It disgusts me, and eBay won’t do anything about it. Plus they allow sellers to change their name every month! So once ppl see she keeps selling the same bag she pops up again under a different name but same town and state and exactly the same fake pics! If I can prevent a few ppl from that trap, it makes me feel good! So let me know!!

Yes I did end up getting it! She offered me a lower price and I snatched it up. I figured I have a few days to accept payment if it's not right when I get it! Thanks for your help you're the best!

Glad that I have taught you something new I did send those photos to the seller and only that she then realise that her bag was fake.

That’s what happened to me regarding Falabellas! I bought one then did research and after reading some of this forum, freaked out! [emoji33] I didn’t know fakes existed of these, but that’s how naive I was. I did extensive research and watched YouTube videos, went to the department stores that carried them and had many chats with reps from SM. I wasn’t familiar with that style as it’s not a Falabella but now that I think of it, many fake Falabellas I see do get the spacing incorrect on them. There’s so many other indicators for me now I never focused on that too much. Thank goodness your seller sounds decent. Most get mad or disappear! Armed with a solid knowledge base about these bags, I’m comfortable giving advice and purchasing them secondhand on eBay. I do see fakes on all the sites, Mercari and Poshmark too. But usually can tell who’s a scammer and who was scammed and thought all this time they bought an authentic bag. I have helped many ppl get their money back from scammers. I enjoy helping when I can. If you authenticate the non Falabella SM bags and I do the Falabellas, we got this forum covered! [emoji23]

I can confidently say that the gray small tote is definitely authentic!! The first bag has a few things that concern me. The shape and proportions are off for a foldover. Btw-I’m not a professional by any means but have learned extensively about Falabellas and have bought and sold many now. The lining of that foldover looks incorrect as well. Compare the lining to the gray one and see if they’re totally different. From the pics it looks like cheap cotton as opposed to a more smooth nylon like material. The length of the chains seems wrong as well. Check the inside zipper for YKK on the side of it. My educated guess is that it’s a replica. The gray one will have the YKK I’m positive. As for the lizard print bag, I’m doubting it. I’m just not 100% sure it’s fake but think it is. The zipper will tell a lot as they’re much more expensive to use. The thing that’s throwing me is this color combination isn’t typical for replicas, but they will try to duplicate anything over $30 it seems!! Let me know about the lining comparison (sometimes lighting throws me) and the zipper and we’ll know then. Usually I see the black foldover fakes often. Even beige and gray. Lizard print with neon whip stitching is def not a common bag. The bag also looks more triangular as opposed to how they’re usually shaped. I’ll attach some of one of my foldovers so you can see what I mean. The stitching was surprisingly tight on the lizard bag. It’s usually thicker and looser. I’m going to look again at it, and use my pics to compare shape, lining and zipper. Hope this helps!

I have purchased these 2 Falabellas somewhile ago, since there’s so many super fakes out there would appreciate your expert opinions on these, thanks!!

Can you take a picture of the zipper and the chain hanging down like in my bag pics? I think the long foldover chain is too long. Maybe this print was popular at one time and that’s why there’s replicas of it. It’s not a horrendous fake at all. But I keep looking at the pictures and it seems 50% right and 50% wrong. It’s missing the date code but that’s not really a big deal. Many authentic ones don’t have it or are missing all the numbers. My gut is saying replica..

From what I see, it’s definitely authentic! I couldn’t understand a word of it, but from the few photos it looks like a Falabella crossbody in redwood which is a chamois, not shaggy deer. I have the small tote in this color and absolutely love it! The lining is correct, tight stitching, correct date code, etc I see absolutely no reason for concern and I would tell you. I’ll post some pictures of my redwood beige Falabella so you can see the color better. I give it a [emoji106]you can see the similarities between that bag and my own. Fakes never get those details correct! Hope this helps!!

It’s more than likely not an authentic Falabella. The shape and some other features concern me. But if you didn’t pay much and like it, then at least you’re not out hundreds! A quick tip is to check the side of the zipper for YKK. Most likely you won’t find it on this bag, but it’s a great way to determine if a Falabella is authentic. There are many other ways but that might help.

I’ve never seen this type of style before. On all the Falabellas I’ve owned the magnetic snap says SM on it, so that does give me pause. You may have found an answer by now. If not I’ll go into more details.

Hi! Did you ever find out if this is authentic? From the listing I found it very confusing! The pic of the seller holding the bag appears to be a large tote and not small. The lining looks ok but I would need more pics to be certain. Let me know regardless if you found out. If not I can def help you with some specific pics!
