Hey! If you haven’t bought the bag on Real Real yet I just found an awesome foldover in a shiny black for $375! I’m tempted to get it but have to remember I don’t like foldovers and it defeats the whole purpose of me selling. Here’s the listing. They say velvet in the description but this is not. Thank you so much!!! That's such a good price for the condition. I'm so tempted to get it but after using that (phoney) bag for one day it actually gave me shoulder pain! I imagine the authentic one would have heavier chains so it's probably not best for me...if only it came with a thicker strap instead of a single chain for the fold over look! It's a shame because i absolutely love how it looks but like the same thing with you I think the mini would be less strain on my shoulders since I can wear it cross body. I've tried it on in stores and it felt so much lighter. I ended up buying a mini from Farfetch. Since I'm in Canada the import fees and taxes really add up from eBay/consignment sites. I like how Farfetch has the duties included! I'm going to be in trouble when Farfetch has deals I'm already eyeing another mini in the duck blue colour. I'm not a fan of bags with logos all over or with the brand just plastered on, I think that's why I like the falabella so much

You’re very welcome! I totally enjoy helping people with making sure their Falabellas are authentic. I have educated myself and if I can help someone avoid or return a fake, I feel accomplished! And that my knowledge isn’t all for nothing! I actually ended up buying that Falabella on eBay! [emoji33] Totally defeating my desire to downsize to a smaller collection! But I sold 3 so not too bad.. I guess 2 technically and have offers from fashionphile to sell to them if mine don’t sell on one of 3 sites they’re listed on!! I have a problem letting a great deal get away!! It’s definitely a bag with great resale value out of all of them. Farfetch will give you money back if it goes on sale within a 2 week period, I think it’s about that but don’t remember exactly. I bought a McQueen scarf that went lower and they reimbursed me the difference. Plus returns are so easy and awesome! You schedule a pick up time and DHL comes to your home and picks it up! Doesn’t get better than that, no going to the PO! And their very efficient and on time. You only have to give a 3 or 4 hour window and the 2 times I returned they were here within the first half hour. Definitely keep an eye out for sales because in October or early November Falabellas were really great prices. A pink mini was on sale for $350 plus an extra 20%! But I missed that and bought it at $465 and 20% off, so prices fluctuate almost daily! Just buy it cause returns are simple. Never had a problem with them. Some things are very expensive though like their Stuart Weitzman over the knee boots I love so much! They’re about $200 more than here in the states.
I actually sold one of my Falabellas to a woman in Canada and she gets things delivered to Blaine, Washington cause the customs fees are a little cheaper.
I agree about the foldovers and that’s why I have 5 small totes! 2 minis and 2 crossbody messenger bags. Trying to sell my black small tote, navy mini and one of the messenger bags. And here I buy another foldover! But I carry them on my forearm. Never folded over because I never get them to fall right probably because I carry too much crap!! But the bag also has a 30 day return policy so I’ll try again! Lol! I do love the look and made them take all these other pictures to verify authenticity for me even though I knew it was already. I hope your friend took it back, did she even know it was fake? A year ago I was the one posting bags holding my breath waiting for an answer. But when the girl who used to authenticate misdiagnosed my first black foldover I set out to learn as much as possible! SM reps helped me with a lot of info ppl have no way of knowing like the change purse on a foldover doesn’t and never existed, plus I’ve seen cell pockets on foldovers and laugh because what idiot thought up that idea? When you fold it your cell phone is going to be upside down and falling out [emoji23][emoji23]! But they’ll keep trying to replicate...but these bags are truly unique and given the vegan materials are truly impossible to make a perfect replica. I’ve read it’s a very expensive material to produce and more than leather. Plus I find these bags hold up well. But given how many I have I switch em often to preserve them. I’ll show you pictures of my small totes. You might like that style comfort wise better. 2 chains is easier to manage and I just love them!! Now that I have the black foldover coming it’ll be easier to let my black small tote go. If no one buys it fashionphile offered me $300, which isn’t bad when you consider they pay shipping and no fees are taken out. With fees and some states charging tax now on used items [emoji35]you end up having to charge at least $75 more to get $300 even. I went overboard again on Yurman rings and now bracelets! And I wonder why I’m broke! My closet is worth more than my bank account!! Anyway I want to submit some rings and bracelets to see how much they’ll pay me.
Yeah I feel guilty but that bag was just too tempting for me. Plus is was the shimmery black which I absolutely love!! Hope it’s as nice in person... I bought a “pristine” gray small tote and when it arrived the chains were totally tarnished by the shoulder straps. She was willing to take it back but I was disappointed. Found a truly pristine one for more money but gorgeous! You’ll love your mini. Did you get black? I recommend using or buying a card hold instead of a wallet because you’ll have more room if you need it.
I’m an impulse buyer, once I saw 11 ppl watching that bag and they were nice enough to take all the extra pictures I had to buy it. It’s too easy to just hit pay now!! Lol! Let me know how you like your mini!!
Hi, no I didn’t end up buying the bag, as I found out myself that the seller’s bag is fake.
This can clearly tell by just the made in label, seller’s bag the 2 lines of wordings are much closer together whereas the authentic ones are much more apart. (1st pic is seller, 2nd pic is authentic)

You’re so welcome!! I ended up buying the Falabella I suggested!! [emoji23] This will be the fourth foldover I’m buying! It was an amazing price plus free shipping and 30 day returns. I typically never folded mine over and carried them on my forearm. They absolutely are a great style but not overly comfortable folded. I understand your hesitation about buying second hand. And your issue with import duties. That’s crazy!! I was very unsure about buying Falabellas in the beginning as well. Luckily I never bought a fake but easily could have a year ago! It’s crazy cause I’ve seen some fakes selling for $800 and ppl are actually watching them!! I want to scream!! It’s FAKE save your money! I don’t like seeing anyone get ripped off like that. The people who do that on a regular basis are just scum. There are genuine ppl who honestly had no idea they had bought a fake until I tell them and they’re very grateful. Scammers hate me..lol
I think you will like the mini! I actually got my collection down to 6 bags with that 7th on the way. That’s a perfect amount. I don’t need 11 bags!! That was ridiculous. So I sold 5 within about 2 weeks so not bad! If you find the mini a little small I recommend a small tote. They’re my absolute favorite bags! Easy to throw over your shoulder and get in and out of. My only warning with light color, especially crossbodys is be careful when wearing denim especially. Dye from jeans can ruin a light colored bag. Trust me I love the light color bags but am leery of buying them due to that happening. Enjoy your mini, I assume you bought black... so no worries there and if you ever need help with the second hand market I am more than happy to assist! That’s something new you taught me!! Thanks for the extra tip! I wasn’t familiar with those at all, just Falabellas, so that’s why I recommended an online authenticator. Glad you dodged a bullet. How did you find that out? I can tell by the lining of fakes but this one doesn’t have the Falabella lining so I was unsure. Did you submit the photos? I hate when sellers use stock photos anyway. Model it yourself with the actual bag!! It annoys me.

It looks good but I just requested pictures of the interior. I love the color combo! But before deciding I would def like to see the inside lining. I hate when people don’t post pictures of the entire bag!! [emoji23]
It says it sold! Did you purchase it? I’m sure it was fine. Fakes have a certain thing about them that they just can’t get right. Usually the shape is wrong and stitching is too large or thick. Let me know if you bought it!! It was definitely in great condition from the outside! I enjoy helping ppl avoid getting scammed or buying fakes. Some sellers honestly have no idea they’re selling a fake. But there’s a couple on eBay who list the same black foldover every few weeks as new and authentic and start the bid low and before you know it they end up getting 10 bidders and someone ends up wasting over $400 on a $45 bag. It disgusts me, and eBay won’t do anything about it. Plus they allow sellers to change their name every month! So once ppl see she keeps selling the same bag she pops up again under a different name but same town and state and exactly the same fake pics! If I can prevent a few ppl from that trap, it makes me feel good! So let me know!!
Glad that I have taught you something new I did send those photos to the seller and only that she then realise that her bag was fake.
