oh dear Yes I purchased this through ebay. Silly me, I should have known better. Thank you for all your help, I shall contact the seller now & update you on what happens. I really should stick by the rule if it/s too good to be true it probably is. Thank you again.

I would say it was produced 2012- early 2013. Congrats, it's a gorgeous rocco!

I'm guessing the year based on MIC tag. The newer bags have a numbered tag next to the MIC tag. Production and purchase dates can be different, there is no reason to think the seller is lying.

Most of the time, the MIC tag is pretty difficult to find. You almost have to turn the bag inside out and really feel around along the piping to find it. Are you 100% positive you didn't just miss it?

Ask the seller for a photo of the engraved AW on the clip, and made in China tag (found inside seam of lining).

Finally after a lot of back and forth with the seller & only after opening a case with ebay the seller admitted the bag was a fake & I got a full refund today

I've learned my lesson but one day I shall own a beautiful Rocco!!! Better start saving
