Hey!
I just wanted to let everyone know I have a vuitton cup messenger that has pinkish stains on it, maybe fruit punch? And I used baby wipes and the stains lightened up a lot!

I'm new here - have a 30yr old Bi Face NOS - unused - it's PURRFECT - should I condition the vachetta - it's totally unmarked, clean, not hard or 'dry' but it hasn't seen the light of day for 30 yrs. As soon as I figure out how to post pix, I'll give it a viewing for everyone. Have looked through LV gallery but nobody seems to post vintage collections. Any advice for links of where to look?

Josiem, you were asking where to post pics of your vintage bag: there's an LV clubhouse subforum here called " Vintage LV Bags Club" and another called "Discontinued LV Bags Club". Just click at the top of this page on "Louis Vuitton" and you'll see all the LV related subforums. Click on "Louis Vuitton Clubhouse" and either go to "search forum" or you can scroll down until you find these two clubs. People post photos of their vintage and/or discontined LV pieces. Hope this helps, can't wait to see your bag!

I need advice on cleaning my bag! =(

Ok so like an idiot I loaned out one of my speedy bags- the LV mini lin ebene speedy to a friend of mine and she spilled some kind of blue cocktail all over the bag!! I am completely furious because she can't afford to replace it and now I am mad at myself for loaning it to her in the first place!

Anyway this bag is made out of linen but obviously still has the leather handles and piping and I have nooo idea how to go about cleaning it. Usually I just go over my bags with a few baby whipes but this one needs a serious deep clean if these stains ever do come out. I went to the dry cleaners and they were ZERO help saying they had to send it out and it could take up to 5 weeks to get it back and they assume no responsibility of the purse being damaged. ummm ok!?!? So looks like I need to do this myself!

Does anyone have any advice at all?

Thanks so much!!

my mum has had LV all her life cos my grandma did, and she says the best thing is really silly, but just a good fragrance and colour free moisturiser on a clean rag! weird but true, at first it makes the leather look, dark and you think **** i have stained it, but just keep going till all the yuk has come off on the rag, then leave it to dry, good as new! hope it helps

*at first it makes the leather look, dark and you think s@#% i have stained it* lol that was so funny!!!

I came home tonight and noticed my new black shirt got transfer on my delightful. I used wet ones fragrance and alcohol free wipes and it removed it. I tried it on the inside first to see if it would make the leather dry with discoloration and it didn't.
