Does Louis Vuitton really replaces parts of your bag? I have an Alma and I think I set it down somewhere. Now there's a huge oily mark on the bottom. I put it away but I keep thinking about it and it's driving me crazy! help!

You have to pay but yes. Ask for a quote. They have a list of repairs and replacement and how much it'd cost.

Thanks, lvobsessed, for the list! I am finally going to try cleaning my recent acquisition - a 7 year-old Vernis Houston from my aunt. I love the Verni so much that I decided to let go of one of my other bags that I barely carry.

I've got some really bad colour transfer on my mini mono juliette from some new jeans I wore (it poured with rain & we were stuck out in it). the juliette is blue & its only on the back so its not toally the end of the world but has anyone got any suggestions for removing it?? I seem to recall that baby wipes are good for this? I'm in the UK so can't really send it to any US cleaners.

thanks!

I have heard people use baby wipes and it worked for color transfer on various pieces. I remember someone had the exact same thing happen (blue jean transfer) and she got it off.
If you are going to try baby wipes, make sure to get a non-alcohol wipe (I'm not sure if you have Huggies or Pampers over there...but that is what a lot of us in the US & Canada have been using. Huggies Natural Care, Pampers Natural Care)

My month old speedy recently got stained when my three year old daughter suddenly grabbed the straps from my hand. I was petrified because she was eating candy at that time and her hands were really sticky. After an hour a stain has developed... I was so worried not to use anything to wipe off the stain. As soon as I got home I opened my pc and researched about getting rid of stains from lv bags. I found it here that you can actually use baby wipes to clean the vachetta. Even if I was sceptical about it, I still tried using it hoping everything would turn out fine and it did! I am very happy about the results! Yay!!! Thank you so much! ( I used pigeon alcohol free and unscented baby wipes )

Hi there, can anyone share some tips in cleaning LV Vernis? I have a bedford and I would like to know what is the best product to use.

Thanks!

I would use a baby wipe to clean away dirt & a microfiber eyeglass cleaning cloth to buff away fingerprints.. It will make your bag shiny & bright. Hope this helps!!!
