Hello! I've settled on sending a few pairs of my Louboutins to Santana Creative in Raleigh, NC, because it isn't too far from me and is one of Louboutin's recommended cobblers, but I'd love to have an idea of their pricing before I send mine off! I looked through the cobbler resource thread, but didn't find a real consensus. Have you had the red half soles put on at Santana, or had heel taps replaced? I'd love to know about what you paid! Thanks in advance!

I recently used Pendergrass Family Shoe Repair in Knoxville, TN, because it was inexpensive, close to home, quick, and simply because they actually did the red Vibrams (in Knoxville, that's most of the battle.) I was satisfied with the work, especially at $20/pair, though if you're super picky or don't live here, I'd send them somewhere else! Pictures are attached for reference!

I just want to say that I dropped my Nude Piggies at the Leather Spa in NYC last month and they did an AMAZING job! I had messed up the right heel with stupid pavers during a night out and they replaced the entire heel and added Vibrams. They look brand new!!

Hey all! has anyone ever tried getting a bigger sized pump fit more snugly? I purchased a pair of pigalle plato 140mm and got the smallest size but I just know that after standing for an hour, i would be able to fit my entire pinky in the back. I tried using a shoe insert but that pushes my foot back, making my forefoor spill over the sides of the shoe. Help! Will leather spa in NYC be able to fix it? Any input is very much appreciated. Thanks!

Just saw this thread. Ptobably old news now but I can say that it is possible to make shoes fit snug. My cobbler did it twice for me and just removed a huge water stain on one of my shoes after the profeasionals at MM7 in Paris told me they were ruined.
So definitely possible

Loubspassion what did your cobbler do to make them fit more snug? I swear my foot shrunk after my last kid and my Manolo Hangisi Something Blue are big now :( ... Also (as you know) I got the black patent pigalle 120 that fit pretty good now and I couldn't find the smaller size and honestly am not patient so I didn't wait for the smaller size. They fit good in length on the right side but my left foot is smaller so I have about a finger of room there --- they are fine on carpet but I haven't worn them out of the house yet --- I have a suspicion I will have to heel pad them in the future unless I can find a better option ---- please spill your secrets :)!!

I just picked up my Bruges 37.5 from Arturo's in Beverly Hills and he did a great job making them fit my 37 feet. What he did was to add some extra leather to the back of the heels and painted the top bit black to match the color of the shoes. I had to go for fitting a day before collection and the bill came up to $ 60 including the vibram I asked him to add to the soles. Hope this helps

Wow!!!! That looks great what a deal for that and vibrams!!!! I'm still stretching mine so I've got the reusable foot pedals gel toe pads and heel pads resting in them right now I haven't done anything permanent but they fit great!!! I will definitely be keeping this post for future thank you!!! I think one of my big problems is my feet can vary so widely day to day so my shoes fit differently probably from what I ate day to day obviously but it makes a pretty big difference sometimes!!

Hello all,

Any recommendations for a cobbler in the Washington D.C. area who can fix the toe of one Bruge, black leather? I will even have them shipped to any cobbler in the country who can help me. One of our dogs got to it and I actually screamed when I saw what happened. I don't have a picture right now because my sister has them- she took them to her cobbler but he said he could not fix them. The leather isn't punctured, just a bit gnawed.

Any suggestions would be great. Thanks!

This is regarding Kaner's in Toronto which many recommended here in this forum.

I brought my brand new Louboutin heels here for vibram rubber soles. Everyone at Holt Renfrew told me to come here. I will say that the vibrams were put on fine, so the installation was not the problem.

HOWEVER
1. The actual rubber soles he put on were orange and not red, he painted red over them. As soon as I started wearing them all the paint chipped off and revealed the orange underneath.
2. He painted over THE ENTIRE bottom of the shoe with that red paint. I understand it was to make it blend better but now the entire bottom are a matte dark red. My shoes now look fake.

I would not recommend bringing brand new louboutins here. What he did would've been acceptable on old beat up louboutins that need refreshing, but my brand new shoes?!? I consider them ruined.
Thank you for your review on Kaner's!!

I received my first pair of loubs for Christmas from my boyfriend and after reading through these posts, I was planning on dropping off my heels there to get the vibram rubber soles attached!!! I'm so thankful I came across your post because I would've been horrified if that happened to my brand new shoes. Would there be another cobbler you'd recommend in Toronto?

Girls, are there any other cobblers you know of in Toronto that are trustworthy?
Also, would anyone recommend it if I purchased the red vibram soles and attached them myself to my heels?
Has anyone experienced paint coming off of their heels when removing vibram?

Any answers would help. Thank you :)

Hey ladies,

For anyone looking for a shoe cobbler in Toronto, Canada, drop your shoes off at Shoe Therapy on Bay St.
They did a fantastic job (better than most of the pictures i see here on this thread) on my brand new black patent pigalles 120mm.
I would post a picture but I don't know how to use this website yet and i don't have an url.
I was skeptical at first but the vietnamese couple convinced me after showing me a dozen pairs of louboutins and valentinos they were working on.
I paid $35 not including tax for the red toby soles, but it was well worth it.
They're really nice too and I just pulled up in front of the store (although the lady was concerned I'd get a ticket).

Hope this helps someone :)
