He's very good and charges $30 per pair (you provide the Vibram though).

**Warning**
There's a cobbler in MLC Centre in Martin Place. Don't go there though, he destroyed the bottom of 3 of my CLs -- he left a gap between what he scraped and what he covered with the Vibram. In one of the pairs, he scraped the sole all the way up to where "Louboutin" and the size is written (despite my clear instructions, ugh!).

Just for info...

Classic Shoes in the UK charge £45 for a CL resole and heel. The sole is leather and perfect. They did a great job of my shoes and have a very clean and professional shop. I'll try and get some pictures this weekend.

Hey all,

The straps on my alta perla are just too long. My right foot is somewhat manageable with the footpetal straps but my left foot is just a bit smaller and there's no way to get it to work with padding. Could a good cobbler shorten the straps? I'm in Hampton, VA and didn't see any listed in the cobbler thread, should I just find one around here and try it, or should I try to mail them in?

If anyone needs an awesome cobbler in northern NJ, Tony's Shoe Repair in Livingston is awesome. I have been going to him for years and drive nearly 40 mins away from my house just to go to him! He also just got red soles in for resoleing CLs. He has done fantastic work on many pairs for me and I highly recommend him.

thank you ladies for all the info here..i have a great cobbler here in queens who fixed my Rolandos before but i dont know if i trust him to resole them..he did a miracle on my rolandos which i scuffed up the leather on the heel since i got caught on a grate ugh..and fixed them and they looked good as new..

i am going to try the place by colombus circle tomorrow..taking my rolandos and my fontanettes to get re-soled..
