Eddies: So far I am happy with the service. I dropped off 1 pair of CL to vibram, 4 pairs for tips, 3 pairs to stretch, bbag zipper to be replaced, heels on a pair of Tahari heel to be redone. Total cost= $100. Will pick up Saturday (he offered Friday) so I will report back on Eddie's.

My only disappointment were: he did not have anything to match the bone patent of a pair of CLs I have that are very scratched on the back of the heel, so he would not fix them. He also would not fix a pair of Lanvin I have that a cobbler completely peeled off the sole of. I appreciate his honesty though (he did not want to make them worse).

I have a pair of CL that my bunny chewed a half circle into the side. He offered to make it a design and would do the same on the other shoe as a way to fix them. I am uncertain if I will take him up on this offer or not....

He also has a location in La Jolla. I asked if there was anything closer to Anaheim and the SA said he does have three other locations but they weren't listed on the card. SA also mentioned that I could drop off in the SCP Boutique cause the Cobbler picks up the shoes from the store - this is the way I'm going to go. The SA mentioned he does amazing things with the shoes. Someone brought in a 4 year old pair and Sa asked them to do the best they could and the SA said they looked like new.

Just tried Pasquale Shoe Repair on San Vincente and I love their service. I took my new CLs and old scuffed up Pradas there. At the end, I decide to only have my Pradas serviced.

I didn't get my CLs soled because I decided to wear down their natural red paint prior to resoling them. Really kind, friendly, warm, and HONEST service about my different questions on my CLs from shoe stretching, applying the tophy soles, and protecting the leather. I spoke to Anna and she inspected my shoe when I tried them on and gave her opinion on what I didn't need to do on the CLs and made some suggestions on the Pradas. She even showed me some of the other customer's CLs that could be resoled and the finished resoled products.

Overall I was very pleased. The turn around time was super quick for heel replacements, painting, and shine. Although I didn't get the resoling done, I was told that they could do it the same day (I think ~30 mins) as well granted that the shoes are brought in at least 1-2 hours before noon. But I'll definitely be back here for my CLs when the red wears off or for any of my other shoe repairing needs. :D

Oh adding to this post: their cafe across the shop has delicious homemade tiramisu and double cappuccino.

Hey, was wondering if anyone out here has tried www.redsolesavers.com? I live in the Philippines and so far, there are no shop that has this. Only the black/brown kind. I would really love to buy the red rubber sole and just have my fave local shop do it.

I've already tried the Soletech site and they don't sell direct. So, any help would be very much appreciated.

I did a search in this thread for San Diego and did not get any results. I know I can drive into LA, but REALLY would rather not. Does anyone know a reputable cobbler in San Diego County, specifically for Vibram soles? My soles are in need of major TLC....

He's very good and charges $30 per pair (you provide the Vibram though).

**Warning**
There's a cobbler in MLC Centre in Martin Place. Don't go there though, he destroyed the bottom of 3 of my CLs -- he left a gap between what he scraped and what he covered with the Vibram. In one of the pairs, he scraped the sole all the way up to where "Louboutin" and the size is written (despite my clear instructions, ugh!).
